Yes i do. It is charging now and when i tried to start it only the motor light was on. The only light was not
The glo-plug itself is ignites from the starter wand through a wire that is connected to the glo-plug ,but also ,if the
ground wire doesn't have good contact that is screwed to the engine will pose problems as well ,make sure that wire
isn't damaged ,severed ,an make sure its got good contact ,it will be screwed down at the engine mount.

It is wise to get a separate glo-igniter that was mentioned an shown!...

While it is charging, as mentioned, check the condition of the wiring from the plug to the ground as well as to the glow plug. Make sure all the pins in the plug look to be in Good condition as well.
Btw, there is a "charge" plug for your receiver battery in the truck. If you were running a battery pack, you could use that plug. Since you are not and are using AA batteries, you will not be using that charge port. (never ever ever... Recharge alkaline batteries!!! They have a tendency to explode!!!)

Yea, plan to purchase a receiver battery pack or 2. They provide more power to the servos which is important when trying to turn wheels of that size. Aside from that, a fully charged pack will outlast the AA batteries.
While we are waiting for the battery pack to charge up, tell me about the fuel tank and fuel lines in the truck. How do they look? Is there fuel in the tank? In the lines? Do you know how old that fuel might be? Also, do You have FRESH fuel for the truck?

Okay i do have a glo ignition. And i can't get to my ground because the gas tank screws are stripped. The ez start turns the motor fast but only the motor light comes on.
There is gas in the tank and i bet it is old. My seal seems to be good thro. And i have tried to start it so i bet there is gas in the lines

Okay i have a glo igniter and my ez start turned the motor fast but doesn't work the glowplug i can't check that ground wire because my screws to my gas tank are stripped. Yes there is gas in my lines and old gas in the tank. I have a half a bottle of this stuff he gave met but its probably not fresh. I reset the carb back to factory

Update just got tank off

Did you get this truck used?
If you did ,did you get any info from the person about it ,an if they stored the truck with any after run oil ,
also when the last time they ran it?
Its best that you clean the fuel tank while you have it off an throw away any fuel that was left inside!

Does, the fuel that's in the tank appear to be liquid or is it a gooey mess? Of it is liquid, you can clean out the fuel tank with some car type brake clean spray (make sure you're in a well ventilated place!) or you can use denatured alcohol. Some ppl even get away with using new fuel to wash out the old... I recommend brake clean. I would just replace the fuel lines. Fuel line is cheap and you won't have to worry about cracks, cuts, contaminants or anything else. The tmax also had an issue with the fuel tank sloshing which is fixable by putting a loop in the fuel line... We'll get to that. I would also be sure to clean and oil the airfilter and make sure, the carb (linkage and the carb itself) are operating smoothly. Do this whole you have some time. This will help to get it fired up quickly and reliably.

Also be sure you have NEW 20% nitro fuel! Old fuel will cause all sorts of problems if it has gone bad... No way to really test it.

Ok... I just made myself some hot chocolate... Then tried to put the teapot in the fridge... I think I need some sleep:confused:
I will check in to see how things went while I was passed out. Good luck! See you all in the a.m.!

There is supposed to be A sponge of sorts in the air cleaner. I don't think the color matters so much but I'm not positive that some manufacturers didn't use color coding for their air cleaner elements

I have a sponge but I can't firgur out how to get in the filter

I have a foam couldnt get it in the filter and i dont think i have any air folter oil i have this bottle that has 50 on the top and i dont know what it is. And when i toke the foam out of the package is had some red oily stuff on it. Idk if it came with it of because the tool box that came with it had red stuff spilled on the bottom of it

I am thinking about cleaning the carb and checking the motors compression

Ok. Well there is Def supposed to be oil on the new filter. As far as getting it in, I don't have a tmax, so I can't really guide you thru install. As far as the oil that says 50 on it, it's likely 50 weight oil for suspension. I would recommend tossing all the old oil etc that you can't identify for sure. For the damage it could cause vs the cost of a new bottle, there is no comparison.

What is the issue you're having with getting it in?

Prob a good idea... Make sure it's clean and moving nicely

The wand gp light wasn't showing up so i put the glo igniter on it and still didnt fire up. I have to motor apart and it seems to have good compression

Have you pulled the glo-plug out to test an see if it glo's?
You can do this by having it out with the wire on an touch the glo plug to the head for ground as
you hit the wand starter button!

Yes i have tested that. It doesn't work the gp only motor. So i have a glow igniter

If the plug isn't glowing on the external igniter, it's time to replace it.

As far as the oil used on the air filter element (the foam) I used after run oil on it. ARO should be use when storing the engine for any extended period of time. So it's a good idea to keep some on hand.

I would prob buy a few extra for anything that comes up. Its always good to have a couple new plugs around.

Having the flow plug working right is obviously important. Adjustments to the carb will likely have to be made to get your truck running right as well.
