I can paint 5 SCT bodies with one of these little bottles. An airbrush pays for itself.

I do airbrush well,but low volume only...and need consistency.

I just hate seeing people paying that crazy money for Tamiya paints. If you're just spraying single color paint jobs, turn your air pressure up to about 45 psi. Then you can pull the brush away from the body and spray a pretty good size pattern.

To be fair, you have to pay off the air-brush, compressor & hose before you can start saving money. For me, that's a lot of paint jobs. I've only painted six bodies in the last couple of years, and even if we go with 2 cans per body, that's about $60 total in paint.

For Tamiya paint? The chespest I see it is $7.50 per tiny little can. And you can barely get a 1/10 touring car body painted with a can. Then you still need to back it.

So if you figure 2 cans per body, that's
$15 × 6 = $90

Yeah, it's an investment. I started with a 1/6 HP tankless compressor at $56 i think it was, and a $30 Master airbrush. I also bought about 6 bottles of Parma Faskolor at around $8, so $48 there. All in, $175 or so. And I know I could paint 16 bodies or more with that much paint. So I paid twice as much, but I could paint nearly twice the bodies as you can, even if you could paint 8 bodies. But I also still have an airbrush and compressor to play with. You have 12 empty paint cans

Don't worry. For what you're doing, and didn't already have the colors needed, I probably would have used rattle cans as well

Possibly the fluorescent orange...but I have one more can in the mail...all will be tested on excess lexan this time!
