Also got the new servo horn in today too 😁

Sweet man. Progress may resume!

Was funny cause we celebrated my son bday today since my parents are down here. He got his slash today so we were working on that and here comes fedex. Actually thought they had the bronco body cause it showed it would be here today and this stuff showed Tuesday

Aren't you on the hook for a body-fit report before you can start on all those upgrades? :bored:
I think we have established Lostinthewoods was also blind as a bat in the bayou. It fits 😅

Not exactly. I want with the Traxxas one because it was more square

I think I'm going to countersink some holes in the bottom of the cage and drill/tap some holes in the plate underneath
If it were me, I would reverse engineer that cage mounting face with hole locations, then I would reverse engineer this plate to match

Then I'd find a machine shop buddy to make it for me. Damn, I miss machining!

I’m trying to picture what you talking about on the cage

Basically, that aluminum plate on top of the mount is like an adapter plate to adapt to a HW ESC I believe. I'd make one that was the shape of that ESC cage you just bought and put the hole locations in the new aluminum plate to bolt that cage to it proper. But that is what I'd have done when I was still machining. If you know a guy down there that machines, it would be an easy part to whip out on a lunch break, if he had the blueprint for said part.

Because if I had to guess, the mounting locations already in that cage are designed to be the strongest points to mount it. Just guessing.
