Build Thread Lost in a Tekno MT410

Well here goes this one.

Was lucky to pick up this slider from 9x19, so the hard part is already done .

On order, Perfect Pass servo, Castle Cobra 8 esc/2200kv motor, and Proline Trencher X premounts. Still haven’t quite decided on the body yet.


The servo did show up today

Got it put in

Now we wait for the rest

Did you test fit that body again? You're leaving us hanging here, and these guys can get pretty fiesty when they don't get their fix man. @Littlemotor is one to watch out for. Good thing he hasn't popped in here yet and witnessed your lack of follow through

No I have not yet . I will say the first day I checked it with the uncut body and it looked way to big . I did throw the one of the mt8 on there and I guess it’s closer then it looked

Measure that wheelbase of your chassis. Wheels straight. Measure axle to axle both sides and average.

Measure that wheelbase of your chassis. Wheels straight. Measure axle to axle both sides and average.

13 inches axle to axle

And I mean the number don’t lie, and I could be looking at this completely wrong (really good chance ) but here is the 12.5 wheel base body

I was looking at center of the fender cut outs in relation to the axles and this one almost right on. If you look at the raptor body above it is off

Yes on 4s.

I don’t believe it was ever run, pretty sure 9x19 just assembled the kit.

That thing fits PERFECT. Once you get away from the RTR stuff, you can’t ask for much better than that.. Hell-I can’t remember the last time I trusted the manufacturer for even my mount location holes when the body is FOR MY KIT… You WOULDNT even BELIEVE the serious on-road stuff… those guys have to change wheel opening locations on EVERYTHING. Gonna look great brother!

That’s what I said when I saw it before he snatched it up! No need to go any higher than 4s on that thing-it’s gonna be an ANIMAL with that 1515…

Also agreed. He built it clean, and proper too IMO.. Only thing I’d have done differently would be titanium turnbuckles. Well-and it’d get 4s LP Backflips. They were made for that thing… It’d be way more capable, and more fun that those Trenchers for sure. not to mention waaaay easier on the drivetrain, and bearings..lol

Fits perfectly man. And that looks like you have it sitting right where it needs to go.

I still haven’t ruled out the bronco body for it yet though either. My son really wants that one too. I think I’m going to go ahead and get one to see how it looks.

That should make that MT410 fly! Congrats dude. Get ready to step up to the plate in the big leagues. It's going to be an awesome kit.
