The swirls are cause for tried to polish it with a wheel 😂

I’m gonna go back with the sand paper. This was just a bit I could get done on lunch break 🤣
To be honest, you're never going to see it 😉

Hell, I'd probably call it good. Paint the edge black so it disappears under the cage.

One thing I will suggest - slow your drill down on those countersink bits. Low RPM, and lots of downward force should round those up a bit better. I am going to guess your bit is 6 fluted, based on the hexagon shape of the c-sink?

Yeah I was thinking that too 🤣 putting way more into it then I should be 😂

It’s 5, it’s all I could find to pick up today. My son ain’t gonna let me keep ordering stuff and waiting for it to come in 😂 he’s ready to rip this thing.

The holes are mostly covered by the cage

True. But you're not going to get all of that surface contact of the screw with it shaped like that. Just a quick, low RPM hit with a lot of down force should straighten it up.

The things I don’t think about 🤣

Gonna clean up that plate some more, gotta take it all back apart anyways to loctite everything and wire routing. Should I be concerned with the motor wires? I’m trying to find a cable clamp for them, anyone know of a 10 gauge one?

Gonna try to get some bodies cut now

I wonder if the school my wife works at does 🤔
Well let me know. If so, shoot me your email.

I would try to twist the wires so they naturally want to lay this way. Turn each wire counter clockwise at the connection to the ESC and plug em back in. Then maybe run a strap around them clamped under the top bolt there on the cage. If you have some kind of circle connector with a ring on it, you could ziptie through it. I'm still looking around for ideas.

Don’t mind my temporary rear mount 😂 I haven’t swapped the extended one yet. Still gotta cut the raptor, but pretty sure this will be the body

See what I been saying bout the wheelbase though and the bumpers. The raptor is longer, it fits but it’s “off”. I won’t get it cut tonight though.
Did you ever look through the manual about wheelbase options? That kit can supposedly be built with various wheelbases. Like is there a spacer on the pivot pin of the A-arms?

Look in book. No 😂

But don’t I just take this lower pin out and move those shims around?
