Looks like tomorrow this machine gets a workout. With today's new arrivals I have 3 batteries at 2s/5200mah/80c to charge and run at the hobby shop on the outdoor dirt track.

Share this Pic with a parts supplier who needs to realize how important free stickers are.....I just got big white panel of a wing these guys wanted to be part of. Tomorrow when I am there am gonna check and see if they have some slimmer hexes that let me mount up these pin tires. Can't get to the elastic on the locknuts atm.

If it runs as good down there as it did today I won't need em, but I sure will try em on anyway and give it a go.

Congrats!!! Nice job getting dialed!
The wing looks great!
I've been doing similar with stickers where and when I like them. 😎👍

I'll need to get some RCTALK.COM stickers for a few of my builds now that they are getting closer to done. 😁
Stuff I need for my idea on the spur gear fix should be here Saturday. If that works, that would be the final deciding factor....I would probably take a 2nd 1 to build a different way.

It would be good for everyone that has 1 of these. If my evil plans work I will be able to use any size and pitch offering in the kimbrough selection with the std. Drilling pattern. A top quality gear marketed to guys building custom pullers and drag cars. If I get those options.....

Sounds perfect! 😎

Assuming I didn't forget anything, and that you factor in from 0 - whatever you want to spend on batteries. If my spur conversion works, and I get the back tires mounted with the new wheel nuts I have coming.... total cost in building an awesome buggy with all the bugs sorted. $215!!

Not bad at all! 😎👍

I'd like to see it on a track. I'm very curious to know how it runs on carpet as well as dirt vs other similar buggies.

I see there's not a lot of wiggle room to work with. A shame those Integy rear wheels/tires are not working out... at the moment. I wonder what buggy those wheels and tires came off of.

Do you have pictures of the rear with the wheels off? I'm assuming the rear axle uses hex adaptor to drive wheels. What's the width of the rear hex, and thickness of the axle?

Yesterday's driving may have uncovered a flaw. When I brought back to check the motor temp it switched into safe mode like the battery was dead. It seemed like a short run, but I assumed the new motor is thirsty and went home. Motor temp only got to 71f. This morning I check the battery I was running and it has only dropped to 8.0v. I would imagine the next logical thing is the new esc is getting to thermal shut down underneath the driver.

Sits pretty close to the bottom of the driver without much room to vent.
That's a big wide section down the center though.
And I have this...

Now this...

And ...

Then finally some cutting away of the drivers lap will add air flow as well as place I can shoot temp gun to get some real info when I go to the track later.

They don't open till 11....so now we wait.. ... .... .... .....
