New to the forum. I just picked up the 240z on the same chassis and I’ve been upgrading almost everything. Had a strange problem with the metal servo saver install. After installing it, the silver bar won’t stay in the holes. If anyone has had this problem and has a fix for it please lmk

After a few years, I finally came around to rebuilding both front and rear differentials. This car is engineered and laid out very well. Easy to work on. I recommend all HEX course screws. I don't recommend RCScrews.com since they have fine threads; more opportunity for stripping. I got the set of screws from YeahRacing.com course threads and HEX. I put 3k diff oil in the front diff and 60k in the rear. Not sure if I mentioned but I added the sway/stabilizing bars to the front and rear. The car handles so well. I was told to add some weight to the front end to stabilize more at speeds faster than 60mph. I got this RC to hit about ±63mph but was kinda shaky, but fun

Sounds like me! 🤣

I love your car!!! I am also a huge Kyosho fan.❤️😎😁

I am mostly into vintage but just picked up a Mad Wagon to step into 'modern' Kyosho too. I'm still collecting parts for that build, getting close.
Also getting closer to completing an Optima Mid restification that has gone a lot deeper than I was planning. A LOT of hop ups!

Thanks for posting your build! 👍
The Fazer chassis is pretty awesome!!! 😍

Thanks! I get it. I recently got into Tamiya myself. I bought a fully upgraded TT02 and a kit I put together with some blue anodized upgrades. It's definitely NOT a Kyosho. Tamiya is a long standing brand but IMHO it is not a stable car and by the time you upgrade it to a fast car, it's not a Tamiya any more. In any case, I like the body styles Tamiya has for the TT02 but I think it's my first and last one. I am looking into a Team Associated and/or HPI next.

Tamiya will always have a special place in my heart. I started with a Hornet, then Blackfoot, Frog and a Road Wizard too.

Tamiya has always been able to fire my imagination. I can see myself buying, building and enjoying almost every kit they've ever made.

I don't have much for HPI but I have a few AE. I'm sure you'll like them. Yokomo and Xray make some beauties too!

I'll be looking forward to your next build! 😎👍
