There will be a class action suit and a huge settlement for "long term traxxasosis"! Just you wait! 🤣
word on the street is Mark Santa Maria will able to retire off his cut of the settlement. :stick:

Honestly, I hate his videos. All he does is review Traxxas, and every video title is "BRAND NEW TRAXXAS RC CAR!" when it is literally the exact same platform/car with new wheels and tires or a body. I just find that so annoying. In my opinion, he is the biggest Traxxas fanboy I think I've ever seen. He also doesn't show when things go wrong. I know Kevin Talbot does some of the same stuff, but it is not nearly as extreme as MSM. If you want nonbiased reviews, I would recommend Do RC or Exocaged RC.

Razor RC is the least biased channel I’ve found. Good technical information, calmly spoken, doesn't yell at you the entire time he’s filming and he doesn’t involve politics in his reviews. He just test the cars and tell you what he likes/dislikes and what you can do to improve things. Sometimes his videos can be a bit boring, but they’re worth sitting through for the information. His engagement in other forums is also appreciated

DoRC is up there as well. KPopRC is great fir the large scale stuff and his editing style and attitude is extremely engaging. RC Driver is hit or miss as some of his videos are clearly sponsored by the manufacturer, but overall decent and informative.

TomleyRC and Mark Santa Maria drive me nuts and are incredibly biased whether it’s intentional or not. Kevin Talbot is annoying and has strong opinions, but he at least puts his money where his mouth is most of the time.

Brutally hysterical review!!! I LOVE IT!!! 🤣

I like Exocaged. He seems like a good dude abd I love a coupke of his painting vids... even HE is a bit biased.
I have come to find almost all are biased to whoever sent the free products etc...
I'm not putting anyone down for this, rather, its how you get paid if ypu want to be on youfool I think.
These ppl put in some time and effort. They deserve compensation from these companies.
They are far more effective than a picture and a price tag at XYZhobbies.com I think. I think even more effective though if we DO see the fails. Even if if was the installer's fault, not the products.
We ALL learn through failure too!!! 😉

I like Tomley's style of videos, where he isn't screaming or hiding the box and saying, "Here is the brand new Traxxas car," when it's the same as the last 10 years. But yeah, I can see where you are coming from about him being biased though.

MSM gives me a headache every time one of his videos starts playing. I just can't stand how biased he is towards Traxxas. He has to be getting paid to only say good stuff, right?

He’s getting paid and has stated so in some of his past videos. He has a lot of sponsors, which I can respect… you gotta have an income stream to some degree. But, I just can’t trust anything he says. It’s okay if you’re just looking for a first look at something “new” though… so it has its place for sure. Like most things on the internet, you can’t tier anything you read/hear and have to excersize common sense.

Click bait. It's normal
this^
and to be fair, (can't believe I'm kinda defending traxxas, ill shower with scolding hot water and bleach after this post) they aren't the only ones "rereleasing" the same exact car with a new paint job and maybe "updated" electrics over and over and over and over. most RTR brands do it regularly.
but yes, him overly hyping it is annoying AF.

Tomley is be one of my favorite rc youtubers. Pretty chill guy and def will say if he's not a fan of something.
He even made a vid to 'unbash' the Kyosho Phaser (?) when his fans thought his review was too harsh.
I thought that was big.
Kevin Talbot IS a crazy person and needs to be treated as such! 🤣
I like his videos but he def takes extreme R/C to new extremes! 🤣🤯👀
I also like "non american" accents so thats another thing. 🤣🤣🤣

iv been watching more Tomley lately. he doesn't hype anything. he gets personally excited at times and it shows. but overall it's a solid overview of a car.

last 10 years? dude think about this. the rustler, stampede, and bandit were released in 1994. so they're 31 years old this year. the tmaxx was released in 2000. so it's 25 this year. the revo was released in 2004 (?) so it's 21 this year, legal drinking age. while things (mostly electric's) have been "updated" they are still largely unchanged sense there first release. that's a lot of releases of the same old thing.

What I meant by the 10 years was the 4x4 1/10 stuff. Most of the stuff he reviews is that. I had an original nitro rustler that was much older than me. I should have phrased my typing dfferently.

But yes, I get what you are saying.
i think we're hitting the same point, just coming at it from different angles.
