Opinion on the New Dodge Charger

The only electric vehicle/s I’ll ever own are toys.

You ain’t fooling me into buying an exploding death trap that can’t touch my 05 Toyota in full tank mileage.

My friend bought the 2025 electric charger brand new $70k. The front end is freaky it has a built in front wing that is open and you can see through. The rear tail lights are just like 1970 chargers so that is cool. He is already complaining about the mileage and they are giving him the old we need to update the computer routine !! LOL. The interior is futuristic and yes when you start it it sounds like a gas engine. Someone already put a small but nasty scratch on the fender from passing buy with a delivery cart or something. It is the scat pack and is pretty fast he took me for a ride and it made me dizzy. Its just freaky cause its fast but so quite and you dont hear the engine sound inside the car. Plus he was racing through the neighborhood with parked cars on both sides and I was worried about playing kids around. He is really going to be pissed when he has to buy new super heavy duty tires. $$$$ For that kind of money he could of almost got a hellcat or one of those last call Chargers they had. If he keeps it clean and keeps the mileage off it he could drive it for 20-30 years and sell it for double what he paid. That being said I gave up on electric Rc cars when I was 12 because I always needed batteries for it. The Radio shack ones not real hobby grade so I have been running nitro since 1993!! All that being said dont forget about the 5-10 year old GM car worth $12K that needed a $19k replacement battery.

I also seen the new Lexus Christmas commercial that showed all the nice looking old cars sc300 rx350 ls400 and their new cars are just so ugly!! I hate the new grill that they have. Why are they so big I thought they wanted them streamlined and aerodynamic for better fuel economy!!?? Also the grills on the new BMW's are way to big look stupid and are a sticker!!

They are watching. And they ARE reporting YOUR driving habits to YOUR insurance co.
With the inflow of flock cams and the infringment on ALL of OUR 4th amend and other rights... so what?

WHY does a car need to check in? WHY are they reporting to home base?
Ford listens in and 'adjusts' ads to better suit 'your' needs as a consumer... its ALL of them now.


So what if they are listening?

Why care about your right to speak freely without your spyware car listening in?
WHO is listening and WHO is the info availible to upon request?
Currently google shares your info freely with the government. Do you think General Spyware is going to be ANY different?

Info IS money. Plain and simple.

WHY are WE allowing a spynetwork to be built and implimented on OUR dime?

NEVER gone for a ride to have some privacy or to 'get away from it all'?
Why not bring along 23 cameras to your 'off the grid get away'?

Why allow it? Does it help you? Do you enjoy tailored ads?
Are you a safer driver with satellites tracking you?

Do you believe power windows will stop working without regular updates?

The more 'features' they control digitally, the more they can pork you for them over time.
Its all bullsh!t.

I’m not really concerned about the tracking, if I were I wouldn’t be using a cell phone. That’s for sure! LOL. It’s all right there in our hands, listening, tracking, even where and how fast we go.
I just don’t want a car with heated seats I can’t use without a subscription, or a motor vehicle payment that’s closeer to what I feel should be a mortgage payment.
Some have it like that, good for them, but I haven’t the income or desire to pay $70k for a vehicle that’ll be a rusted out POS in 10 years..
