JTORC 3D prints a Jeep - Project IJ

After 3 tries, I was finally able to get a clean print. I hate brims…but it needed a brim to hold it firm and prevent the layer shift at the top of the print.

Still have to mount it up but I love it so far.

Yep! lol. But I’m glad I did because I like the black hood. I think my red spool needed to be dried out. I just couldn’t get it to cooperate toward the end. Tossed in my black PETG spool and had a perfect print on the first try.

Amazing work!! And yes, the black hood made it look like a junkyard parts build.

Amazing job. Nobody could have printed that anywhere near that nice 10 years. Just imagine 10 years from now! We will all be boycotting all the RC manufacturers and printing our own
