Well gang. I have good news, and I have bad news...
Bad news first: I have sold the red Jeep. I was offered an amount of cash nobody in their right mind would have refused. I boxed it up and shipped if off while shedding a tear flavored like seller's remorse. That thing was gorgeous.
Good news: I was already 50% through printing another one when the cash offer came. And version 2.0 is

You'll notice there are some pretty major differences between this one and the red one. The file designer offers several different "upgrade" packages which allow you to make numerous different versions of the body. I wanted this one to be a tough looking, short WB, rock monster.
This one has a half-cab hard top with a rear lexan window in addition to the "stock" lexan windshield. The rear is shortened a smidge with comp-cut style rear fenders. I also went with different rock sliders.
You'll see missing screws here and there and stuff not fully attached...I ran out hardware. The whole upper half and the door are just sitting on there, not actually attached to anything while I wait for hardware to arrive. The screws, magnets, and other odds n ends required to assemble these bodies are not super easy to come by. Everything required is strange/small size and the folks doing these builds keep wiping out the inventories available on Amazon. I'm waiting on orders from several different places at this time. Prime 2-day delivery is so underappreciated until you don't have it...waiting days/weeks for a bag of screws to show up is for peasants!
Almost forgot to add: I made enough from the sale of the red one to fund a chassis kit. So that's one the way too!
More to come!!
