I was looking at the model on youmagine. Your's looks better that everybody's.She hefty for sure.
I hear you. There is A LOT on that site that I want lol. They have a Ford Econoline body on there. I asked the guy if he could redo it to print in 24th scale. I really want that body.
Sell it on ebay!!!I hear you. There is A LOT on that site that I want lol.
Everybody's kind words jinxed me! I printed a Rubicon style hood last night with no supports (wasn’t paying attention and just sent it). It printed great for 95% of the print but ended with a major layer shift around the last hour. Doh.
I’m going to finish up the tailgate, windshield, body panels and doors before I come back to it. I’d rather stretch out my red PETG on the small stuff before printing a third hood lol.
I was going to say the same thing.Man that thing has a lot of screws in it. Looking awesome though!
The plan for this one is a VS4-10 straight axle kit. I want to get a new kit and build it around the mounting solution for this body. That’s cool, I may have to do this one. I would find a vanquish chassis on eBay and just use that, or look for a roller that has at least the VFD transmission.
I thought I wanted an A1, but that Carbon is kicking out some amazing prints! She's really coming together. The body is almost done.
To do:
- Finish printing and assembling passenger seat.
- Add 5-point harnesses to both seats.
- Print windshield wipers and cowl accessories.
- Figure out which doors I want. Lots of options.
- Re-print Rubicon style hood.
- Re-print black tailgate insert and hope a glob doesn't ruin the next one.
- Order chassis kit.
- Print body mount pieces for chassis.
- Assemble chassis.

After looking at the 2nd test cube, it looks to be the same. That was at full speed with no speeds slowed down. The first layer looks really good though, a lot better than the one pictured.I thought I wanted an A1, but that Carbon is kicking out some amazing prints!
Can you export your print profile and send it to me so I can get a look at it? TeknoJ is having some problems and I would like to compare his settings to yours.
After my headache goes away, and I get to feeling better, I'm going to be trying to find what in Bambu Studio controls how the printer approaches a corner. Tekno's is doing this, and I get the feeling this is somethimg in his settings, or the speed is just too high.

Breydon is on the PC doing his classes. I'm fighting a pounding headache. I guess whatever is going around is what I have. I thought yesterday I just had alllergies. The Mucunex knocked it right out yesterday, but today I'm out of Mucinex and feeling like crapAfter looking at the 2nd test cube, it looks to be the same. That was at full speed with no speeds slowed down. The first layer looks really good though, a lot better than the one pictured.
I appreciate you taking the time to do this.
The Carbon is pretty killer. This is just regular old PETG too. I can't wait to try out some fancy PETG-CF!I thought I wanted an A1, but that Carbon is kicking out some amazing prints!

You can barely tell that is 3d printed. Except for that one area that I swear I didn't zoom into...Safety upgrades: wipers and 5-point for driver.
Do not zoom in and see the terrible overhang quality in the roof scoop. I’m working on a remix of the included file plus a roof panel from my H10 Terra Buggy build… it’s still in the R&D stage

That’s what they do with out support there. It looks fine, you won’t see it on the move anyway.Safety upgrades: wipers and 5-point for driver.
