I honestly don't know. Since I flipped the trans for weight distribution, motor space is REALLY tight. So it'll either have to be another 030 can, or re-think my layout, which I'm not super fond of.

So, although the truck would likely perform fine, I just don’t like the look like I thought I would. So, I have something else in the works.

I got started on the facelift last night.

Man I love these wheels. Took me a minute to find them in stock in the US.

I also wanted to use my existing body mounts, so I needed to fab something up to make use of those. So kydex to the rescue.

Turns out a really sharp hand plane works great for trimming kydex to size.

End result

I also notched the body to clear my RX wiring. More to come…

Those wheels look really good in person. My buddy has them on one of his 1/24 comp builds and they look sick!!
