Today I decided to frame my autographed nut driver I got at Oxford a week and a half ago as well as some photos printed at Walgreens and my tickets. Took me awhile, but it's done. I'll hang it up once I'm done painting the accent wall in my room.

What? you've been goofing around framing stuff, instead of painting that wall? Sheesh! 😜 Came out nice! :thumbs-up:

Slept well and woke up feeling good, that only lasted a couple hours. I feel like death now.

That's just the hard boiled egg talkin' 😜

Came home from work, yesterday, to find my mailbox leaning 45°. Wth!
So, today, I fixed it. Decided on a simpler method rather than digging a 3' hole and cementing a new 4x4 post. I just drove a t-post right up against the side that had gave way. Cut off the access, and then screw the 4x4 securely against the t-post.

The total lack of zip ties and duct tape means you failed to qualify for the Redneck badge. 😜
I just didn’t want you to call me out for being a copy cat 😄

Depending on you location, just be sure your mailboxes conform to the rules 🙄. If somebody hits you box and the pole/mounting does not conform, you could be held liable for their damages and or personal injury

God bless America 😁

Someone knocked it down and put it back up when I was on vacation. 😁🫡

If you're getting sued because your mailbox hurt someone, you didn't hit them hard enough with it. ;)

I wish that was the case, but unfortunately you can be held liable if someone run off the road, hits your mailbox on your property, and suffers excessive property damage (their vehicle) and/or personal injury from your non conforming mailbox and attaching hardware.

sad reality, x should check with the usps, cause that could be viewed as reinforcement and the poles must be able to break away. Theres different regulations for different areas which is why I say to check.

The mailbox post is a 4x4 held to the ground by a long angle iron. I just took a shortcut and used a t-post. Its sturdy and all, but I know all 152lb of me can rock it out of position. So, it would stand no chance against a motor vehicle.
Also, the mailman actually pulled up as I was doing my repair. He could see exactly what I did as he handed me the mail, since the mailbox was still on the ground. 😀

No box....no bills....

This kind of goes along with that...one of my humourous saved quotes 😅
Reminds me I should really find time to shoot my bow again.
