Did the Iron Horse Classic road race again, what an epic day! Route starts in Durango, and finishes in Silverton, South West Colorado. Brutal race, didnt do as well as I wanted, but still beat my time from last year. Best part was after finishing 46+ miles and climbing almost 6K ft in elevation at 10,000 ft above sea level, mt beautiful bride and grand girls were waiting at the finish line. Came in P31 out of 100 in my class.

Well that was kinda part of the reason we needed to upgrade😂 She was in a cx5, and we were out growing it. Couldn’t get her in an expedition, the size intimidates her. It was kind of a spur of the moment deal though 😅. It didn’t even make it to the lot, I got it basically right off the transport truck 😅

Love gloss black on cars, but no way I would ever own one. Every little dust particle on that mirror finish is going to be visible which would make me lose my mind!
 
Helped oldest daughter pack up to move out of her apartment, now that her college career is officially complete. Then it was the long 6.5hr drive home in very wet weather.

Good to be home!
 
built 2 ikea bookcases, moved the wallunit over no joke 1/4 inch so one would fit (which was a project in and of it self). then did some organizing. i actually have easy access to all my DVD's (and some VHS) now. i no longer have to move a bunch of clutter, then dig through a box or 2 drawers to find a movie.
this also freed up 2 drawers, so now i can fill those with video game crap that's under the bed in boxes and that'll make that stuff easier to get to.

That's going to be like a whole new car now!!

I had a family day, we went out for dinner; it was my younger sisters birthday.
I had prime rib (I'll see you again tomorrow, friend), mashed potatoes, asparagus, Yorkshire pudding and a flippin ice cream flight.
Good thing it was up a few flights of stairs so I could roll out of there.

Went to the range this morning, shot the SBRs in 5.56 and .300

Made a Friday morning appointment for my annual eye exam

Confirmed my Wednesday morning appointment with ortho Doc, my left knee is acting older than normal.
