Cold, and getting colder. AND, they're also calling for between 1 to 19 inches of snow and ice. So everyone here that never prepares for anything freaks out, buys up all the milk (you can have it), bread, propane, etc. I've never understood the milk and bread. What the hell are you eating? Snow cream sandwiches? These people wouldn't last five minutes in the zombie apocalypse.

My dad grew up off grid, back in the sticks as they say. He would take 2 slices of bread, put in a bowl and pour milk on it. He then put a hefty amount of cinnamon and sugar on it. I tried it, and yeah, I could live on that. I guess it's a thing because I have heard of this elsewhere.

I could have 15 years ago. Now I don't drink milk, and don't eat a lot of bread.

They might not last long but they would have fresh fluffernutter sanwiches and ice cold milk til they got 'turned'.

Now propane and milk makes good sense. Have YOU ever tried grilled milk? 🤣

Yep, it's delicious, it's called fried cheese.
