It was finally an OK day to get some vehicles out for a run without them getting packed with snow and requiring a hair dryer session to dry them out. We had temperatures well above freezing over the weekend and then it went back to the 20˚s last night and got to the 30˚s today, so the snow is hard enough to support R/C vehicles but not too icy/slippery.

I ran a battery through my Team Associated MT10. It was my first run since I swapped out the receiver for a similar one that has a gyro. It really helped controllability on the frozen snow. I'm happy with it; I just wish I could adjust it on the fly like the one on my Losi Baja Rey 2.0. Sometimes I want it, sometimes I don't...

I also ran a battery through the new H10 Optic kit build. It was really my first day running it other than just some testing in the driveway. I really like it and spent some time learning to deal with its long wheelbase and tendency to high-center. The 3S 2200mah Ovonic LiPOs I bought really give it a nice, long run time. I can hardly wait to enjoy the Optic in the Spring when the snow is gone.

It looks like there may be more snow on the way next week. 🫤

Our weather sounds similar. I just ran 2 packs thru the Granite. 3s on ice and snow was a blast!!! 😁😎👍

Supposed to be 61F and partly sunny this afternoon. Currently 50F. This morning it was so foggy if I stood at the end of my driveway, I couldn't see across the 2 lane street.

It was in the low teens last night but shot all the way up to 27˚ this afternoon so I ran a battery each through the MT10 and the Optic. I can hardly believe the traction on the frozen, icy snow that the JConcept Tusks give... very impressive and it allowed for some crawling. The past week's warm weather and rain opened up some snow-free spots in the woods behind the house, so I had some good fun with the Optic. I'm really loving that buggy!

Nope. Just drove more aggressively then usual. 😆 Almost like the people had brain freezes.
Scraping frost off a windshield down south is like having to scrape crap off a windshield up here.
Some things just piss ppl off I guess. 🤷‍♀️💩❄️

Been really cold here. Yesterday was a 25 high, and 9 for the low this morning. Gonna be okayish for a couple days, then really cold again.
We went through that yesterday.
