Oops I forgot to add context the last time we had a real winter was in 2021. It's just AI, or at least not real, to make fun of current Dutch transportation. There are no trains, buses, planes and traffic jams are everywhere. Just 4-6 inches of snow and everything's dead LOL
And that includes my school, I "work from home", AKA time to make more cheese

More snow again last night.

I have a snowmobile (an old Polaris 550 Classic) but I hurt my knee in a trail-riding mishap last winter and it took half the year to heal. I'm a little gun shy now... I'm getting too old to get banged up. I got excited about snow when I used to ski and snowshoe. Now, pretty much the only winter sport I enjoy is ice fishing, and the snow usually degrades the conditions for that.

I do enjoy having a couple of 1/18 crawlers to run in the living room but I'm really itching to get outside with the bigger vehicles. It's an unfortunate psychological thing with me, I guess... I get most excited about warm-weather activities in the winter and winter activities in the warm weather. I should be getting excited about the ice fishing season but I'm only thinking about the R/C stuff.

It has stopped snowing here and the temps are climbing up above freezing. I need to get outside and snowblow the driveway before the snow gets too sticky.

We have two or three days of rain coming up in the forecast. That's not a good thing here in the Northeast during January!

We got about 4-5" of snow....cleaned it up good because I'm getting that rain on Friday too. Rollercoaster weather this season.

I also just finished blowung an inch + of ice/slush mess off the driveway. Hopefully whats left will melt away now.
The driveway is really slick. Not nice out there.

How many ppl have used a snowblower with a junk wrist????

Mrs Certified actually ran the blower for a few passes today too. Its a beast of a machine. She did very well handling it.

We're in Charleston for a few days. 75 today, perfect for a walk on the beach. Water wasn't terrible either.

cold as hell in the early morning (upper 40's). warm as hell in the afternoon. it's been pushing 80 degrees the last few days and is supposed to be in the upper 70's for the next week. and dry as hell so lots of static electricity.
and from what iv been hearing, it's supposed to cool off to the mid 60's next week with a day or two of potential light rain. so yeah, the weather can't make up its damn mind.
