How's the weather been?

Not my photo, it’s stolen off the local facebook page. But, if this doesn’t explain how the weathers been, I don’t know what does! My plans on getting out and running some RC’s while it’s 50° outside has been halted until the various temporary lakes drain. 😂 Between the rain, random snow dumps and the warm weather… this breakup season has been unusually wet. I’m ready to touch some grass and see some dirt… I’m over the snow at this point.

My ex is dealing with a similar situation. Since sunday they have had non-stop rain, and lots of it. They live right off the Ohio river too, which is already cresting at the height of the levee, and more is coming.

Current (little blue dot is where my kid lives)

If pollen could be made into a nice Pollenade, I'd have a nice tall cool glass of such, right now. It's everywhere! Another state pollen record today. Spent most of the day cleaning pollen from my RC bash sessions! 🤪 Makes a speed basher do some wicked street drifting!!

We've had the Wabash river here flood over 2 miles out. There were places along I-70 where you felt like you were driving over that bridge going to the Florida Keys. Water as far as you could see, except there were trees sticking up out of it.

i hate to be that guy, but we had AMPLE warning, it happens every year, this year is just a little worse than usual. i hope no one is injured and has insurance, but a lot of people are also just stupid.
i have 2 items waiting for me at lowes, but the roads pretty rough between here and there, actually its the road from those pictures.. yeah i could risk it, but i can also wait. so ill wait.
i can't get to our property cause of the flooding, but we are on the top of a hill so should be safe. i feel for the people that are going to permanently lose properties and land, those areas are known flood areas so most insurance companies wont give flood insurance. its brutal
