How's the weather been?

You guys aren't going to believe this, but my patio out back has one spot where I can stand to smoke my cigars when the sun is beating down on it. It's just way too hot to stand anywhere but a shady spot. So I'm standing there smoking, and one of those big green flies lands on the spot where the patio is super hot. He lands, takes a few steps, then falls over... dead. Not even exaggerating one bit. Blew my mind.
Cooked em lol

And just think, Peanut is wearing a hooded fur coat, right now.
She snuck up on me today, and looked like she was taking the heat a lot better than I was. Which got me thinking - there is no water around my place. Do squirrels not need water?

I think they require very little water. Never seen one lap water, but all mammals need water. Morning dew of a leaf or grass is probably enough for them.

Pretty sure peanut might be a chupacabra, are there many goats in your area?

There are deer. Which is funny because I live in a fairly busy part of town.

93 in the sun right now. Def not getting the painting done til that changes. 🤣
I got a bit more ready to go though. No shade... great green house location but HOT!
I think the white color is helping to keep it a little cooler inside at least. 😎

Yesterday it was 96, heat index 105, 80% humidity, and we went to a concert at an outdoor amphitheater.
Damn near passed out sweating before the show even started!
A couple of $6  waters and (thank god) a slight breeze made it tolerable until the sun got low enough to start cooling down.
I probably wouldn't have gone, but tix were a gift from BIL/SIL who came from PA to go with us, it was Keith Urban at Pine Knob in Clarkston, MI (very cool place!) and it was a freakin' awesome show!

96°, $6 waters and no outdoor beverages allowed in venue sounds about right. 🙄
I'm glad you didn't pass out and that the show was worth the heat! 😎👍

I absolutely hate it when there's no relief, from the heat, even after the sun's gone down!
Summer in Las Vegas... At night the ground would radiate heat back at you long after the sun went down!
No mercy at all!!! 🥵
