Same! It was supposed to be overcast all day but is nice and sunny. Beautiful outside!
Yeah, I heard that about Colorado before I went there. 90° in areas that looked like a desert still sucked ass. I'll take my sweaty forhead dripping in my eyes at 90° before being in so-called "dry heat" to keep from turning into a raisin... any dayif it's a dry heat it won't be so bad.
my weekend is looking like low/mid 80's and a bit muggy.
I guess you'll be sporting your summer wear, now.
ill take the dry any day. i sweat worse than a cold beer. hate the humidity. my last vacation going through Arizona in July it was 113, so dry you couldn't spit. keep things at a moderate pace, i didn't find it all that bad. my only complaint is the static electricity that comes with it. got the living hell shocked out of me more than once.Yeah, I heard that about Colorado before I went there. 90° in areas that looked like a desert still sucked ass. Here lately, like the last 2 or 3 years, even here in Indiana, the sun feels like it is trying to catch my skin on fire. Even on 75° days. I keep saying there is something about that 'they' aren't telling us. I used to do construction. Roofing, siding, additions, etc. All day in the hot sun never bothered me. Anymore I can barely stay in it long enough to smoke a stogey.ill take the dry any day. i sweat worse than a cold beer. hate the humidity. my last vacation going through Arizona in July it was 113, so dry you couldn't spit. keep things at a moderate pace, i didn't find it all that bad. my only complaint is the static electricity that comes with it. got the living hell shocked out of me more than once.
i have something similar going on, i sunburn pretty easily now. 20 years ago i was outside all day mostly in the sun, no issue. over the last 10 years things have changed, i think its because i used to spend a lot more time outside in the sun and was conditioned to it. now i spend more time indoors or in shade and am no longer conditioned to it.Here lately, like the last 2 or 3 years, even here in Indiana, the sun feels like it is trying to catch my skin on fire. I agree with you on dry heat. I spent one summer in Texas when I was a teenager, and I remembered how 100° didn't feel that bad. But... but... you're Asian!I agree with you on dry heat. I spent one summer in Texas when I was a teenager, and I remembered how 100° didn't feel that bad. Being from CT, I hated when it got into the 90's.
This Southeast Asian prefers the cold, and doesn't care for the heat.
