Getting the toro system tomorrow and the guy is gonna set it up and sloder it up for me for $150. Happy birthday to me from me! I've ran the hobbywing system in my parking lot and I've notice a steering difference. I think its getting more power to it then when i was running nitro.
All in all I'm liking the electric more but we will see at the track tomorrow how it does.
This is the reason why i wantes to build the same buggy nitro and electric to see wich route i want to take.

I had a really good day today! The track was really lose and for some reason i can drive good when lose. We had 2 fun races today. The first race i came in 2sc and the second race i came in 1st!
That toro system is pretty impressive for being so cheap! I do have to go up 2 teeth on pinion tho.
Finally i can clear all the jumps and land them right!
Welp time to stock up on 4s packs

Oh one thing i have to say is that, that racer that sold and setup my buggy today told me how it was goingto handle and run without ever rrunning my buggy and also told my the temps ill see and Jesus he was right on the money! Wish i had those skills lol

Note: i like the 7k in the center it seems more stable and controllable. Sticking to that for a while.

Placed an order for a savox servo. @6V .15 transit time with 305 le torque!
I dont know why i didn't listen to the recommendations from you all but i just wanted to try something different.

Currently i have almost put my lx2 nitro back together and i put the pivot ball front end on it. I will try out the pro-tek 100s on it and see how that does.

Theres more adjustability with brushless setups and i found that helps me alot!

Wow its been a few but I'm here for an update on my buggy racing.
I've ordered up a savox servo and have a 4s at the shop that i have to pick up.
Let me tell ya those there 4s and 5s are not cheap at all and i guess thats one of the draw backs.
At this point in time i have more money on lipos and motor/esc and servo then what the kit even cost. So keep that in mind if your starting off with a lower end buggy like mine.
I really can't complain about the lx2-e its been very reliable to me know and that is key when your a new comer. I've been having lots of fun and I'm getting more enjoyment out of my rigs racing then bashing.
This coming up month i will be helping out on track changes and slinging some clay with the now called Rc addiction group that i have made. Pics coming soon!

Gone wrong

So I've been thinking and I think I'm going to try and push this lx2e to its limits. I've been happy with the lx2e rather then the lx2. Just an update

Wow. Talk about thread lag.
Well folks I've been having a blast in the track and have met alot of people there and gained so much knowledge its unreal.
I've been trying out slash 4x4 and ebuggy but after running them I've came to realize that I can't drive a slash 4x4 to save my life. I was able to control my lx2e pretty good but theres something about nitro that just works for me. Sold the lx2e and now working on a jammin x2 buggy and in the works to try and uptain a agama evo spec. Well I have pictures and ill be posting them soon! :)

That's great! Happy to hear you're enjoying the track. That is what I love most about it...you learn what you really can and cannot drive. The fun part is seeing (feeling) the changes in setup due to the fact it's a consistent environment that is challenging. Can't wait to see pics of that Jammin X2.

What are some of most popular buggies at your track? Do they have a truggy class as well?

Well when I started going I was the only nitro. And now theres about 10. Truggys buggys and all sorts. The sct was actually very popular but I'm starting to see guys with slashes getting buggys. They see how lil repair time I have with mine and I see them always fixing something. Lol. Pics coming soon my photo bucket is acting up.

@hipguy can this thread be moved to the racing forum?
Thanks

So after trying out brushless on buggy and sct I have decided that I'm sticking with nitro. To me is just easier to work with and oh that nitro feel :) sold the lx2e and the slash 4x4 ultimate lcg.

So I've decided to pick up 2 buggys, a jammin x2 and agama A8 evo spec. Currently got a losi 350 on the jammin and the agama is still on its way to me and it houses a werks b6 I think.

Apparently this was the last clear body in the usa so I decided to free style cut some cool mask and make a design. Looks pretty cool I think. And boy this body is thick!

Heres my local track. Not a whole lot of jumps so I made the one you see there next to the old lady. I'm no pro so I did my best. The track is ran by that old lady and her husband. Ill tell ya what for 70yrs old that lady can work!

Heres my completed buggy! Now time for the track tomorrow!

That is a nice engine/pipe set. They will struggle top-end with Bonitos and XZ-B's, but it has some really nice low-mid range delivery and can stay with most any engine when tuned properly and buggy setup for such. Let us know how the setup is working.

That is correct. Top end isnt really there but at the track I run I really didn't need it. More cornering then anything. I must say this .21 will spank force .28 anyday. I still need to tune it for power I ran it rich today and did good.

Now, wow what a difference in handling.
The jammin out handles lx2 and lx2e by far!!
I feel that with just a few adjustments this buggy will be dialed.

can't wait to run the agama with the werks b6
