I was thinking maybe a Agama n1 or the Mayako MX8 kit.
I’ve been out of the game since Schumacher XTR nitro .21 desert storm. So a long time you might say
Roger that-well welcome back buddy

!! Those are both very nice kits, and work very well on ultra well groomed TT style “off-road” tracks. Are you not in the US? Reason I ask, is that ya don’t see many of them here with the rougher US “supercross” style layouts, as they’re taylored more for the UK and Euro layouts.. -More so the Agama, but the Mayako has been heading that direction as well with their testing, and development (shorter travel suspension, and lay down or transverse mounted shocks for both vehicles)..
Tekno, Kyosho, and Mugen tend to be the go to where I’m located because that’s the type of track they’re built for.
If you know your way around a nitro engine, and have a good heat gun/fuel, then you’ll have no problem with the Dix. Picco’s are known for being arguably the tightest mechanical pinch you’ll find, and subsequently take the longest time to break-in before their “balls drop” (sometimes upward of a GALLON

).. But when they do-watch TF out, because it’s on like Donkey Kong. Obviously that pipe is the recommended pipe for the motor as well, so you oughta be in good shape there. It’s a higher revving engine (onroad based crankshaft design), so a bit soft on the bottom for a truggy and track with short run up jumps immediately out of a turn or what not-but a bigger carb Venturi, or drop the bell down a tooth would help if that is in your plan..
