Yes, the Team Associated RC8 platforms were/are awesome! It's just super weird about the YCC Racing Nomad ESD8, and ESC8 were able to happen. From what I understand, Team Associated's parts maker went bankrupt years ago and Associated couldn't get the tooling back. 🤷‍♂️

Hold on a sec here. I see what you're talking about, and that's quite interesting. So no electronics and slightly altered OEM stickers. This is puzzling for sure. Maybe they made a deal with Thunder Tiger to get some old "new" stock, and updated the sticker pack. The owners of the tooling / molds may have made another run for another company. I've been involved in a similar thing in my day job, so it's not that unusual in the world of manufacturing.

I wonder if we will see them in the states?

How did you come across this?

I was hangin' out in a short course truck group and someone mentioned the SC10B being sold, but with (what looks like) a "5 series" chassis: https://action-modelisme.com/55_ycc-racing
I cannot find an official YCC Racing company website though.

Manual link has been added to OP.
Part numbers the same and XP servo in the YCC manual.
Team Associated SC8e manual on the left... YCC Racing ESC8 - ESD8 manual on the right:

@Spksh has ordered YCC Racing parts from Taobao. That makes me feel better about if I get a wild hair up my butt and take a leap into Nomad land. 😁

The tires are different. They are missing a few small details when compared to the OEM tires. The website photos are poor quality, so that's aggravating. Also the pinion output is different on both the front and rear diff; it looks updated. Mine is a simple c-cup, these looks captive. Front steering brace plate is also different.

Here are a few images of my OG unit if you wanted to also look for differences.
