So here I am, anxiously waiting for my new fuel bottle, glow ignitor, and nitro fuel to show up today so I can get everything together and take my savage out tomorrow when I suddenly remembered why I put the truck away in 2017 luckily I had already had an upper A arm in my pit box but now I'll have to order a new spur gear

Since I'm waiting for parts for the savage I went ahead and finally broke the MERV down to figure out what's binding...lo and behold all I had to do was take the rear wheel off Guess I'll be ordering the driveshaft rebuild kit and some diff fluid next

Oh lucky day, I forgot the Typhon needed a servo. Don't be confused, she is far from a Mega version.
I need a brushless motor on my Kyosho road rig also.

Wow. You realy are back at it. I haven't touched an RC for months, other than to push them out of my way. I have 2 servo repairs waiting on a wrench.

finally, after not running the truck for probably 5+ years, took the gearbox of the XXXT apart to diagnose a strange clicking sound.
after taking it all apart and cleaning everything. i see no reason for a clicking sound. but at least it'll be fresh and ready to rip again. i hope. ...after i get a radio. i robbed the radio for the Wheely King...

I finished my first-ever Lexan body paint job (Vanquish Origin Classic). I screwed up masking the area over the front windows but was happy with the rest. A shame that I screwed up on such a nice model... Maybe I can fix it.

Tamiya PS-60 Bright Mica Red and PS-1 White.

I just need to install my lights to complete the truck.

EDIT TO ADD: I repainted the headlight buckets in silver, added the headlight and taillight LEDs, and added a few small decals. She's done!

Balance wire ripped out of plug at the track. Came home and fixed it. Thankful I always bring spare charge leads

I'm surprised that I even soldered something that small with the usual shakey hands I have

Got the new spur gear in and everything back together. Took her outside to annoy the neighbors and she moves under her own power now. Gonna work on the tune tomorrow. In other news I have some stuff on order for the mini revo and I've been looking at marketplace and ebay for some cheap rc's to add for the kids and their friends to bomb around and they must have made RC out of gold because the prices on used stuff is crazy! haha

Today i did some tuning to both the XO-1 and the Felony adjusted the camber, toe and ride height. So they would look better and handle better on the street. I had to break out a vice grip to adjust the rear camber on the Felony since i don't have a turnbuckle wrench that would fit but i did have one for the front toe. I also changed the front tires on the Felony to some spares i had since the ones in the picture were starting to go bald.

I took off the plow I had on the front and the spare tire carrier on the back.

Also added the roof rack. Going Making this match up with the white Jeep 30 I have

Ended up with 59% front 41% rear. Need a few more parts for the 30 to get it there

Getting everything ready for the comp tomorrow.
Trucks are clean, everything is packed and my transmitter is charged. Only left to do is the final charge of some packs tonight and we're set for first thing in the morning!

This afternoon i cleaned up both my B74.1 and my dad's YZ2 CAL 3 for tomorrow's trip to our local track at 405 RC. Also checked a few things on them to make sure they'll perform well at the track. This also be my very first track day with my iXSR+ and we'll be taking my Imars D300 to the track as well since i bought some XT60 to race battery charge leads last year.
