Sonic wake:
Programmed the seaking 180 , put a new Teflon liner in the stuffing tube, greased shafts, and pulled stuffing tube and grommets out to shim them for better driveshaft alignment. Glued 4 -230 gr 45 hardcast boolits in flood chamber side, and tested self righting. It works, but slow. Ill glue in another boolit. Should be about right. I got greedy on prop strut angle, and have to tune it down, then ill see if timing needs adjusted from zero. With a decent tune on it.

Disruptor: Glued in 4 230 gr hardcast boolits to level out weight from heavier servo, and gave it a quick rip. She is good.

Tugboat:
Put 5 or 6 230 gr hardcast boolits in to level out, and tested. I just need to glue in.

The gatorhole felt good. ill drink an andygator, and have a burrito and finish up the sonic wake and the tug.

I might put a camera in the jetstream. It came but I haven't looked at it yet.

The dining room table looks like a drydock, lol..

That guy in the upper left looks just like the guy who lives under my bed!!! 😲😶‍🌫️

Those are all pretty badass!!! 😍
Thanks Mike. I was just trying to get used to the trigger, and it's going to take a bit. I don't know who or what that thing in the corner is. I started doing an eyeball and it turned into that. I have watched some vids on texturing, so I started spraying little figure 8's trying to work the paint on and off, which creates a texture look to it. It's HARD!

I have been into Harleys, hot rods... since I could walk.
I LOVE paint like this!!! Next level stuff!!! 😍😎

Practice will get you there!
You are already an amazing painter. Now, with better gear and a little time, you'll be rocking paint jobs just like these! 👍

Thanks. Yeah, I will get better. I used to draw every day, and I really enjoyed it. Especially in high school. My teacher, Mr Tucker was a very inspirational guy. He had a cartoon in the Wall Street Journal, was one of the teachers on the Challenger mission, and he had a local after school television program for awhile. He was a local celebrity. And he was one helluva artist. It was hard not to get good in his class.

2 coats of artic pearl blue, 2 coats of florescent blue, backed with a coat of black (should have used white, i was shooting for a lighter blue)
idk why it has such a teal hue in the pic.

Pretty close to my favorite color - my avatar truck before it faded so much!
My old race truck is closer to it.

Was going to fast into the sweeper. Flipped and hit the wall. Broke a rear arm. Got that fixed up. Actually upgraded to a carbon arm since that's what I had in spares.

Helped work on the track to change it into a oval layout for tomorrow. Getting the nails up from the dirt. Moving piping. Nailing it back in and redo the straps onto the pipe. Well not really pipe but tubing. Lane divider there we go. Lol

Washed off tires and reconditioned them.

Extensive setup changes on the dr10.
Putting in some exotek 7075 diff gears and housing, 7075 idler gear. Exotek RR toe adjustment. Rear diff fluid to 500k up from 200. Front shocks get 30wt and rear get 80wt. More parts on order including rear tower extension to get the shocks more vertical, also stiffer shock springs for the rear.

Redistributing and cutting some weight. Soldering fresh wires on the esc to eliminate weight from my butt connection solder job. Battery is moved all the way to the back (was mid tray) and gnss sitting mid tray with foam spacer up front.

The plan was to take this build slow but kind of just want to knock out the obvious while I've got time.

Will be watching. I just did a body for ours and plan to start adding a few upgrades to it eventually. So please share all your upgrades because I really know nothing about this chassis.

Worked on the FuryBolt!, whats a FuryBolt! you ask?

Well it's a Furitek chasis, mofo motor, redcat esc/receiver and a bunch of other stuff covered in a Deadbolt body, hense the FuryBolt! :)

Got it all put together and took it out front for a quick run.

I ended up taking off the hood sticker after I took these photos, I liked the clean look better. 🤷‍♂️
