Worked on the FuryBolt!, whats a FuryBolt! you ask?

Well it's a Furitek chasis, mofo motor, redcat esc/receiver and a bunch of other stuff covered in a Deadbolt body, hense the FuryBolt! :)

Got it all put together and took it out front for a quick run.

I ended up taking off the hood sticker after I took these photos, I liked the clean look better. 🤷‍♂️
Love the Deadbolt body and it looks awesome in that colour. 👌👍

Spent yesterday putting up Halloween decorations. I know it's early, but we didn't get to do it last year while Mrs. Doom! Was in the hospital. This is on our entertainment center. 🎃

WOW! You guys did a good job with that!
I suck at decorating.

installed a pinion gear. apparently i did have one for a 5mm shaft. it's a 23 tooth, might be big, we'll see. i was thinking of using like a 20 or 21. we'll see what happens. but not today, don't feel like getting the charger and battery out to run it enough to find out.

Put a new board up and I got a space for my tires
Could have used the old board but I cleaned it, once with a Clorox wipe, and after I realized I shouldn't have done that bc it smells bad lol. This new board that was laying around here is polished/finished not bare wood so...

Sounds like an offer... that is really generous of you! :hehe:
I have about 75% of another car in parts on my dining room table right now. I'll bet Mrs Certified would like this!!! 😎

How the hell did I end up with 4 chassis plates??? 🤯

Donated car for a clean table... 🤔👍🤣

(I'd just put up another car and start over! 😁)

why not just put another shelf under the shelf? you could even hang it off the top shelf to avoid putting more holes in the wall.
True but I dont have the products necessary for that.

The gold brackets you see were used a long time back to hold up a CB radio. Tried to mount another piece of wood I had laying around like the long one I put up but the brackets aren't really meant for that tbh.

Well, could move the brackets closer and screw it in from the side on both sides. Ill figure that out sometime else.

Putting holes in the wall under it, I wouldn't because its no where near the studs behind the... hard to explain. you'd get it if you felt the wall yourself. Lol.

hell i thought of 3 ideas just looking at it.
1. longer screws with spacers on the bottom shelf bracket (attached to the wall) to support the back of the bottom shelf, then bolt the L brackets together and screw them between the shelves in front as the front mount. not ideal for usage depending on what you put on the shelf. but that would probably be the simplest method. some creativity with hardware and spacers would no doubt be necessary, but I'm sure you could manage.

2. if you've got 3 more of those bungy cords (or hell even some rope or heavy gauge string) a hole at each corner for the hooks to go through and you've got a hanging shelf. that is probably the easiest way to go.

3. I'm thinking move those L brackets to as far out as possible and drill 2 smaller holes in the bottom of the sides and mount the bottom shelf between them and use 4 small screws to secure the shelf to the brackets. not a lot of vertical space (although you could shim it) and probably not great for weight, but if all its getting is tires or other spare parts it'll be fine.

i grew up lower middle class, gotta make do with whatcha got or can scrounge up. I'm sure i could raid your house and go full A Team on that bitch. by the time i was done it would look like redneck Ikea, but you would have more storage space than you need.

Put together a new set of injora 1.3 beadlocks today at lunch. Tonight when I got home I put them on the 1/18 Redcat Apex.

Took a few shots of the Apex next to the CR18 Juiced Up. My two current favorite crawlers. Both are 3S brushless. Haven't had a chance to put them up against each other yet.

The Apex has just a tad better clearance, especially the portal design. Apex on the right.
