Who was wrenching today??? What did you do??

The first models was 2.2 and tan chassis. Around 2000 they went blue chassis. Around 2009 the went to Grey plastics and 2.8 wheels. Got any pucs of it?

You might be able to give traxxas a serial number and see if tgey can give you a ball park year range.
It’s a 2.5. Grey plastics and blue chassis, so that narrows it down quite a bit. Front wheels are different because of the hex conversion. When I fry the pins off the rear tires, I’ll throw some equal offset 2.8’s on it that match 🤣

Not much direct wrenching on RCs the past couple days, but did put together a couple new garage shelves for storing some the RCs I am working on and ones I actually run on a somewhat regular bases.

I did have to sort of put this one back together when I unboxed it earlier. The seller disassembled it I guess to fit it in a smaller box in shipping.
Put all 6 wheels and tires back on, reinstalled the rear tire rack, not much to it really.

Soldering my life away in the shop.. Terminating these custom charge leads I whipped up from a bunch of spools, and bags of various connectors. I’m pretty happy with how they’re turning out. 🤘

It’ll be nice to have a bench again, and get back to building kits. 😜

I've got the exact same shelf for my RCs. Got it at Lowes

I soldered some EC5 bullets the other day & one fought me. The other went right down. Still got it done. ESC connector.

I replaced the frame on a 2025 GMC Yukon Denali that some twat wrapped around a tree. What does it take to total a car these days?
according to insurance company's. if the repairs cost less than the value of the vehicle they'll fix it. you can do $99,999 in damage to a car valued at $100,000 and it'll get fixed. and (state pending) have a clean title.

It appears so. I need another one. Suppose Lowes has lipos & ESCs? CVD axles or Fox stickers? They wouldn't have Snap-On stickers, they carry Kobalt.
lol I just realized you said shelf, that makes a lot more sense. Lol
I was bouncing in and out of multiple threads and was discussing a particular RC truck body and for some reason thought you bought that RC body we were chatting about in that other thread. at Lowe’s. Lol

I too needed another shelf . I was looking to see if they offered a wider one.
It’s just a touch too narrow to easily set 3 SCTs on one shelf.

I got them in there but had to pull the stand out from under one of them.

Still good to Good to know Lowe’s stocks them, I bought the two I put together this week off Amazon.

I ordered one of these last night.
I think it might work for my need of a wider shelf.
This one is 60” wide where my craftsman shelves are 40” wide.

This one might work a little better with some my stands being the shelves are solid .

All good. The 60" should have alot more room. I did notice that the Craftsman one can be linked together with another one with those little connector clips it came with. I think I paid $107 for it at Lowes. I can only fit two 6s Arrma basher trucks on each shelf.
