Thanks! That orange Fox body is my favorite too, but they all look good.
The Maxx Slash has tempted me numerous times, but it's not that much smaller than the UDR, and I'm just not sure I could really enjoy it where I run.
Yea, the Maxx Slash is pretty much the same size as the UDR. Maybe slightly smaller.
It’s faster than the UDR, but imo the UDR is better value, I think Traxxas knows it too, the Maxx Slash is on sale now with a $70 discount.
The UDR is not. The Maxx Slash is quite a bit lighter weight too.
Front shock spacers to get the belly off the ground, and fender liners are both must have upgrades to make the truck really functional.
Fender Liners being the most critical. I can’t hardly run it anywhere but pavement or grass without getting rocks stuck in steering linkage which takes out my steering in one direction or the other, sometimes both directions get effected.
Now the more time I spend with the Maxx Slash, a tweak here and there sort of thing, I am getting it dialed in, and enjoying it more and more.
I am really starting to enjoy it. It really seems built tough, lots of very HD bits throughout.
As many reviews and comparison have shown, the Maxx Slash is the better basher, the UDR is ultimate scale driving off roader.
Which scale driving is more my thing. Enjoy track racing too.
I am really looking forward to trying out the Baja Rey 2.0 trucks I ordered last week.
Smaller, but still designed for the scale driver in mind.
I have one of each livery coming, I am really hoping I can find a Traxxas battery on shelf that fits in them.
Size wise Losi is called a 10th scale but it’s clearly not, or rather it’s noticeably larger then the Slash.
