I take it by the multiple vomit 🤮 emoji tags, you’re not a Traxxas fan?
Or not a trophy truck fan?
He just doesn't like them because he can't drive 🤣

to be fair, nobody can drive those stupid OG high CG slashes. be easier to ride a unicycle with no seat.
People who race stock/spec/box slash can. You are just lacking skill.
Bryan Cranston Mic Drop GIF

I raced a stock slash, on everything stock, just on carpet tires. I placed 3rd. In the A. But to be fair that was almost 10 years ago lol.

Pretty much all the Slash trucks I actually use are all LCG VXL ultimates of various generations.
Some box stock, some modified , overall I do like the LCG slash platform.

The only RC i have currently in the local hobby shop for repair, for issues I can’t figure out.
Happens to ironically be my only Non Traxxas RC, lol 😂

Everyone has their own preferences.
So to each their own.

Today, back to working multiple projects, many still in progress.
The wheels I painted yesterday are ready to have the tires glued.

Also prepping the new Fox clip-less body for flex-seal.

It's missing the center drive shaft... problem solved. :hehe:

Got a few projects wrapped up today.
Compiled my version of this classic fox body with the white slot rims.
This YT short I saw last week was my inspiration for this build.

Tracked down the rims , then Painted the rims and mounted up some white letter Hoosier tires.
I wanted a clip-less setup, so converted this older 4x4 Ultimate.

New Classic clip-less Fox body.

Flex-sealed the body since I plan on using running this slash.

Got the new wheels and tires installed.

I started on my UDR General Lee project.
I am sure it won’t likely turn out near as nice as my custom painted Slash General.
I just can’t paint that well.

I painted the clear body orange with hopes of hiding any gaps or relief cuts in pre-cut wrap.

Got the body painted.

Then gave it a flex seal coating this afternoon.

I bought my nephew a wrap set of his choice for his UDR in exchange for installing my wrap on mine. Lol
He says he is good with stickers and stuff like that.
I know I am not. lol
So figured it was likely a better bet than me trying to wrap it. lol 😂

Also learned or affirmed what I already knew is that I apparently suck at gluing tires.
Only casualty of the day is my tires I had glued yesterday.
Could be in part do to the painted wheels, the paint is already pealing a bit in spots.
Tires handled great. Had a lot of fun with truck today.

100% due to paint.
I was afraid of that.
I tried wiping excess glue off yesterday when I was gluing them and the paint came with it and had to touch them up.

I am thinking in hindsight that I should have slapped some old trash tire on them while i painted them and that way the paint would not have been on the bead where it and the glue don’t seem to get along.

I’ve had this Teton body laying around for a while. I’ve only used spray paint for basic paint jobs on a few rigs. Tried some tape, did decent for my first go, got a couple of bleed thru areas, but I like it

This afternoon i got my new front and rear diffs in for my Hoss and got them installed. So now i'm on the fence if i still want to sell it or keep it or put back it's castle system with a new servo and Spektrum receiver.

Here's some pics of it put back together.
