Name only now, but when it was intro'd the Hoss came with a different brushless motor (2400kv) and center diff vs slipper.

Now that the Hoss is gone, the Stampede 4x4 VXL has those two items.

Got new stuff in before vacation.
Look at this. This charger is small. Look at the size! Crazy how they stuffed this much power into a small case like this.
Also got new rear mini b tires installed, just OEM replacements. Cheap to bash around in.
Will work on the Typhon later putting in a new servo and later next week will work on the 22 on fixing that arm I broke like 2 weeks ago lol.

Nice haul sir! “He got TIRES!!!”.. 😂

I put the wide body on my eb48 2.1, curious to see if I can tell any difference.

At least one of my EB2.2’s will be getting the new stone guards, and nitro S15 lid..I definitely prefer the E-bodies on the trucks though.. Glad to see another 1/8 buggy dude on the board! 🤘🍻

Wrenched on the 22 fixing that up plus added new servo onto Typhon. Way much faster now. Out with that slow overpriced spektrum. Lol.

The spektrum (S665) is larger servo than the 9imod in length but shouldn't really affect anything.

I pulled the bodies off three of my new UDRs.
Just the ones I am planning on using.
Needed to get them treated with the flex-seal coating that I always put on the inside of all the RC bodies that I plan on running.

UDRs with the open windows and the way the rear fenders are open between them, all make masking them prepping for the flex seal is pain in the rear. Lol

All three are treated and drying. I will get them put back together tomorrow afternoon.

Also started installing the window net kits I picked up for them.
Traxxas part number 8517.
IMG_3465.webp

To install them 100% correctly, it would mean a major PIA tear down to access the lower rear mounting hole in the role cage.
I improvised a much simpler way.
Found a couple very tiny self taping screws out in the shop,
Seemed to work just fine.

I got the other two sets of window nets installed.
Took a different approach on these and by the 3rd UDR I had the window nets install time down to around 5 min.
Given the bodies were already off in this case.

Tiny zip ties worked perfectly for that back corner.

Here in the video this guy made you can see what a major PIA it is to tear it all down to install them.

All said and done I didn’t need to remove anything and had the install time down to 5 min.
Which I was very happy about.
Had I needed to do that full tear down this guy in the video went through. The 2nd and 3rd set might still setting on the shelf. Or posdibly setting in the trash depending on how I felt after that lengthy tear down took. Lol

Thanks. It's a bit of a Frankenstein, JATO 4x4 Arms, EHD drive shafts but standard shock towers (front trimmed to accommodate the fatter shafts). Center diff, no slipper.

Dug out this Proline tough color body from the stack to top it off.

Looks awesome 👍
Very sharp looking rig.

Reminds me a lot of my 68 F100 UDR build.

Got all the new UDRs track ready.
Flex seal undercoated bodies, tires and wheels I want to run sorted out and on the trucks.

Blue got the new Vitavon bead-lock wheels and Traxxas BFG oe tires.
Window nets and UDR metal air cleaner cover.

The Green machine got the Traxxas simulated bead-lock wheels , with the correct mounting hub inserts.
Also a new UDR metal air breather cover, and window nets.

The favorite my 25 model orange and black Fox body also got window nets, it already had a full set of 6 Vitavon like true Bead-lock wheels.

The Max Slash got a little love today as well.
It got a new set of tires and wheels, as well as I picked up a fresh shelf body for it.
Looking like new again, and with the new rims, maybe a little better than new. Lol 😆

That orange Fox body is my favorite too, but they all look good. :thumbs-up:

The Maxx Slash has tempted me numerous times, but it's not that much smaller than the UDR, and I'm just not sure I could really enjoy it where I run.
