All my orders came in today so I started getting to work. I finally got to try out my fancy screwdrivers and assembled the new rear pod. The black shims are used to adjust the rear ride height which really intrigued me. Normally on other pods, you have to take apart the rear axle and stick these inserts on the bearings on the side of the pod plates. The tube in the middle of the pod keeps equal weight and pressure on the bearings which also really intrigued me. I really like this new design. I also swapped brands of bearings and not only are they cheaper, they spin amazingly free. I also sorted out my hardware.

Looks like a sand drag buggy now lol. Did you hear down at all? How are the motor temps? Hopefully you don't overheat it 😅
Haven’t tested it yet.. I’m sure it’ll be fine tho. The castle combo in there is more than capable. 😎

did some test fitting.
Drag Race Concepts idler shaft fits the RPM gearbox case for my generic stadium truck (i was questioning the length, it's good)
threaded some blue RPM short rod ends on a red aluminum turnbuckle. still might be to long... I'm not against shortening the rod and cutting new threads so it should still be ok.
now I'm waiting on shims and toe links.

forgot to check if i had a spring for the slipper clutch... guess that will be a tomorrow problem.
