Had about a half an hour before hitting the sack, I went down to the man-cave (aka cold, unfinshed basement) and was just messing around with my toys. I knew I wouldn't have time to complete it, but I figured l figured I'd go ahead and start putting the Injora high clearance links onto the SCX24 Jeep. Since I had the front section partially disconnected, I went ahead and installed an Emax servo.
I should have the links completed tomorrow night.

Also this little stand from hobbypark works with the 1/5th. figured I throw that in there remember people asking about stands for the 1/5scaleView attachment 129136
I got a hobbypark stand for Christmas and it seems like the bottom screws have the wrong thread. Did you have any issues with yours?

The grub screw that sets the hight and locks it in?

The screws that hold the baseplate to the main screw that adjusts the height. They are in the bottom of the stand by the weight.

The two underneath seem to have the wrong thread screws that came with mine so they don't go in smoothly and you would have to really crank on them to get them in on mine. They don't go past the first little bit of thread if you turned them by hand. The top plate screw did go in by hand and has no issues. Probably just a QC issue unfortunately.

What's a basement?

I'm on call this weekend, and as luck world have it, I got called in. But, before I got called in, I got a little wrenching done, while the family was still asleep.
1) Finished installing the rear Injora aluminum, high-clearance links to the SCX24 Jeep.

2) Modified the body on Goblin (SCX24 Deadbolt) to clear the huge RC4WD Scramblers.....without having to chop up the body.

Did a bot of work on my trx4 sport, fitted a 20 kg steering servo, servo wire wasn't quite long enough, so I flipped the receiver box around, had to drill two new holes 13 mm back from the original ones, all done, steering is much better, set the end points at 55, could've stretched to 60, but better safe than sorry.

@Xraycer Love the new links, and goblin is looking like quite the beastie! Hoping to get some wrenching done today, after I get back from flying. Must remember to take my batteries today!
It is much more fun to actually FLY the plane than just pretending the plane is flying using your hands.

Put a new Exotek servo saver on my Lasernut. Along with a new rear control arm mount since mine snapped on my first battery. Took it out for a spin and now I’m looking at a new carrier hub for the front and a steering rod end. Seems to be a little under built. Thinking whether I want to sell or upgrade. Any advice?
