Who was wrenching today??? What did you do??

You need different wheels with more offset or something.
More offset or a more Traxxas friendly wheel and tire where the outside looks normal and scale, yet the inside is sort of low profile to compensate for the space needed to clear beefier , bulkier steering and suspension bits Traxxas uses.

No wrenching yet, but I just want to get this painting part of the hobby over with...

Exactly. Seems to me like it’s a sct type wheel that is needed. I’m not familiar with the wheel size of a Hoss so I can’t suggest anything that is useful.

Sweeeeeet-they’re good! 🤩

I’ll mess with the potentiometer’s after I float the ground on one of these little dudes.. .01V isn’t gonna make a bit of difference, but I’m a little anal when it comes to electronics, and these will be run in series. Stoked to put these guys into service! 🤘

Finally gonna have a killer charging setup. I’m definitely overdue. 😅

Got in a few more of the Traxxas bead-lock looking alloy wheels and tires.
I have several on order but they seem to be trickling in a few bits at a time.

I have to admit I think the true bead-locks look a little bit better, but wow what a difference in labor time needed to put this Traxxas tire and wheel assembly together compared to the true bead-lock style.
I can pretty much assemble a complete set of 6 of the Traxxas to 1 tire and wheel of the true bead locks and oe BFG tire. Lol

True bead locks on my new fox body UDR and my Custom 67 F100 body UDR.

Got the Reflex 14T up and running finally after months. Dummy me put the rear diff in backwards and thats why it wasn't working.
Its running but i have my old king val 35a esc from my mini b so fixing some wiring issues, this cheapo amazon is gonna be much better than the overpriced hobbywing clone Reedy. Like the reedy literally says hobbywing on the bottom, reedy just took away ALL the programming out of it and put a weaker BEC in it and sell it for 20 more bucks. This king val although 5a higher continuous amps, it has a weaker BEC. Hobbywing 16bl30 is 6/7.4v adjustable. Reedy states 6v/1a which truly is 5.70v my receiver read. My king val states 5v/2a although its actually 4.75v my receiver read... weird. Want to use this esc bc the reedy LVC is set WAY to high, it cuts out at exactly 3.8 per cell which causes only like 7 minute run times. The king val i already have programmed the LVC for 3.4v slow. Soldered on a deans plug, added heatshrink. Tested it, later figured out it had a spotty connection which had to be the rx wire i repaired it once before. Tried to repair it again but freshly decided to open the case, take the old rx wire out and i had a spare servo extension from one of the program cards, took that, splice that, soldered it onto the esc. took me 3 times though. On the 3rd time i switched to a micro fine tip and put it on my weller iron even tho its a short tip for a long barrel it still worked, after i put some CA glue on the wires just in case, sorry didn't have any silicone to put over it. And now it is back to life. Plan on testing it at the track if i can go this weekend. compare temps, voltage cut off and how soft and snappy the throttle and brakes are, are between both ESCs.

Technically if i wanted to I could turn in the poor Reedy esc back to AE and get 35 bucks in return
Right now I have the 2in1 Spektrum esc/motor in the Mini B for right now for space and simple reasons. If the class comes back for racing I plan on picking up the same combo I got 2 years ago with this same esc but just mod the side rails to fit a full size receiver in here bc space is tight! Or if I got the money as I already have a programmer for it, actually 2 program cards, picking up a 16BL30 G2 with a 6500kv motor. That would be a monster but it doesn't have turbo/boost timing, although the BEC is 6/7.4v selectable at like 2A if I remember, pretty good for a 1/18-1/14 ESC if you ask me!

Put KingVal esc in the Reflex. Bye bye to the overpriced Reedy trash, well to the "spare" bin lol.

Got 4 cars prepped and ready for some long while carpet action, for tomorrow. Also some interesting things on the B74 for the side rail/battery strap. Battery strap post? Right? the rear post has always been a trouble maker. the original one I CA glued in so many times, mostly because theres a screw running up the chassis to the post and then you have another screw going down into the post from the strap and last race day the plastic stripped out and would not hold any screw so I found a spare shorter post, works, and is pretty tight in there and secure. Opted for a longer screw going down from the strap and a shorter screw going up into the post from the chassis because it is a shorter post. Should hold for tomorrow until I get a new side rail/posts, or maybe mod a 74.2 rubber brand strap on my .1 not sure. The side rail in the front broke off so for the time being took some glue to glue that up. Tomorrow is my last track day for a good month or more due to vacation and other things. Got chassis cleaned up and horribly cut out new chassis protectors for the future. 🤣
Also, slicks from last time, on camera it doesn't pick up well but IRL you can tell they are donezo.

Started putting one of my custom painted white Raptor R bodies together, stickers, and various scale bits.

I painted two of them a couple weeks ago, finally started working on completing them.
Discovered I missed ordering a few of the scale detail bits like the side mirrors, twilights and tailgate cover.
Got those ordered this afternoon.
