Angle those shocks a bit and lower that frame down. It looks like its going to be a master at tipping over. Perhaps the springs are really stiff.A few upgrades to the wife’s new Base Camp. Tires/rims, shocks and links.
Need to run it now and see how she likes it.

Hey, we have all been there. The stock chassis leaves something to be desired as far as shock mounts.@TeknoJ yes, the springs are way stiffer than stock. Going to try the light springs or maybe go without. Brass helps lower the cg, but not happy with the ride height. Will be revisiting that, thanks for the suggestions.
Gotta love it. Never mad though. Upgrades are never not fun! Those kids, just the greatest destroyers. Wait till you "trust" her to drive unsupervised. They come back broken almost every time, unless you give them a half dead battery.
I have done the blades but didn't like em. They were only 3dprinted from mofoRC, he really doesn't have good quality prints. It always stripped, cracked, then ultimately broke. So sad. I believe @Warby used some injora flex blades on his deadbolt and they look killer.@TeknoJ have you ever added shock blades or upgraded frame rails to get more shock mounting points?
“hey dad, watch this!”
…turns out the Optic does not fit under a Chrysler Pacific.
…even if it’s pegged at full throttle on 3S.
This experiment brought to you by my 9 year old daughter who definitely knows better.

I watched a 12 year old neighborhood kid drive our 6S Kraton along this path, full blast, only to let off the gas less than 10 feet from the tree. All that room, and he hit the one and only tree in the field.“hey dad, watch this!”

You mean that tree hit him? I'm a victim of rogue trees, so I couldn't fault the kid for smacking it.I watched a 12 year old neighborhood kid drive our 6S Kraton along this path, full blast, only to let off the gas less than 10 feet from the tree. It was his first time driving an RC car, so I couldn't be mad at him. All it did was knock the front right dogbone out anyway. But it brought the run to a standstill, so the kids only got to play for like 10 minutes. They had bike riding to do anyway. You mean that tree hit him?
