A little more progress...I got the driveshafts in, the esc mount on, the front shocks and I DID have all 4 wheels/tires mounted.

Question - I apparently missed a step on the rear axle and diff... because the wheel/tire came right off the truck after mounted because the long pin that runs thru the axle isn't connected inside...the front axle is money...what did I miss before I go cracking it back open?

are you using a scale jack to old up the car while you build?🤣

More teardown progress. Got all the hingepins cleaned and polished. Finished the sleeve pinch. Need to clean the crankcase then I can rebuild the engine and see if it worked

I'm about to throw this SCX24 build in the f'in trash. I'm having trouble shooting issues getting the motor to spin the wheels, I've taken both drive shafts off, test the motor, it works...now I can't for the life of me get the knuckle of the drive shaft on one side (the short side) I can't get the stupid screw to feed thru the knuckle and the little bar with hole coming out of motor. It will screw in fine when I just put the screw on the knuckle...when I try to line it all up and actually put back on the motor...nope...I've tried it 100 times, it won't line up.

And it was on already once...so I know it will go on...which makes it even more infuriating

After calming my rage and having dinner, I was able to get it on...but what a little b***h!!

I think I have the motor working correctly with the driveshafts connected to the axles, they all spin without the tires on. This Furitek Cedar motor is going to be a torque monster I think...it sounds so different than the OEM one in my Traxxas TRX4M.

I have to figure out how to connect the servo horn to the injoura steering link...I either lost a piece or I'm not remembering something...may need help with that tomorrow

Assembled and mounted the snow blade. I'm using a winch to operate it instead of a servo.
I'm go remount the winch in a different spot and mod it a little bit.

I think I'm going to install a Savox servo instead of the winch.
The springs with the kit are too stiff so the winch won't lift it all the way.
I like the looks of the springs so I'll put them back on and use the servo.

Figured out (or actually remembered) that the website said this on the install of the Furitek servo in my SCX24:

any suggestions on a makeshift tiny nut to secure the servo?

I'm wondering if a wheel nut might work? A quick scan of the interwebs and I don't see little tiny bolt nuts, other than wheel nuts.

If I had to guess (complete guess haven't even seen a picture) it's probably an M1 or M1.5 sized hole. You can pick up screw kits relatively cheap

You need to invest in some screws and nuts. If I had to guess, the hole in the horn is probably a ckearance hole for an M1.4. Wheel nuts are M2.

I just bought some screws from here for the SCX24's. They aren't bad screws, but a little pricey.

Honestly, between the extra screws that Injoura sends with your kits and the OEM screws, I've got plenty...just ZERO nuts. I just ordered those nuts...feels weird talking about nuts...
