Ill try almost any food once. I draw the line at Balut and Casu martzu tho

Balut. I grew up with this delicacy. I can do balut as long as the chick is small and have little to no feathers. Then I have to discard the head. I keep the shells intact and eat the contents with a spoon. Add salt and pepper and eat it along with an herb known as Vietnamese coriander: rau ram.

I had to Google casu marzu. Hmm....yeah, it's not piquing my interest at all.

I was hungry this morning. Eatin' breakfast watching Castle re-runs! Toasted Mini cinn-raisin bagels, fried eggs and cheese. Apple cinnamon oatmeal, strawberries, OJ and grapefruit juice!! Soooo yummy!!!

With Susan away for the weekend, I figured I clean up the freezer some. Took out a package of ground beef and a bag of cocktail shrimp on Friday. So, today I made beef and shrimp burritos. To go with the burrito, I cooked up a bag of Knorr Spanish rice. Added the rice, cheese, quac, cilantro, and Yucateko hot sauce. Crisped up the burritos in the air fryer.

@greIm starting to hate you for that last pic. And I gotta wait a week to go buy the store!

It's better when I have them at home, where I finish them in the air fryer

I made spare ribs in the Instant Pot, and finished them up under the oven broiler. Coated half with Sweet Baby Ray's and half in a Korean bbq sauce.
