I feel similarly about resto/mod build/rescues. So much fun when you finally get going on an old project and see it finished!Either a Kyosho Pegasus (i can't remember if that was a kit. Probably was)
Or a Tamiya m01 mini Cooper.
The m class chassis used to have a huge fallowing and thier own racing class. Was a super cheap & fun class. Now there's very little info I can find on that class. Wierd.
I have a vintage rc car collecting problem. @Littlemotor can vouch.
I have more fun hunting them down and the parts to build/restore old rc's then I do actually running them anymore. Well.... its pretty close to a 50/50 but I thoroughly enjoy it.
Nothing more exciting then finally finding THAT piece you've been on the search for for 2 years and getting it finally and completing a build.
