good luck, they're a pain in the butt to find complete in good shape. they weren't real durable and the chassis' crack at the back along the rear arm mounts and gear box. so good luck.
although to share a cheat code. its just an Outrage ST with a baja bug body and the Outrage ST can be found. and is cheaper. Team Bluegroove repops the body, you'll just have to track down the hens teeth that is the chrome parts (head lights, tail lights)

and in stock form the gearbox is terrible! however you can do what i did and use rerelease Ultima gears. it also shares suspension parts with the Ultima.
also several suspension parts from the Tower Hobbies ST-15 nitro stadium truck fit.

i also still have the original unused sticker set for the body. I'm eventually going to scan them so i can make duplicates.

Sounds like my sort of challenge sir. You'll come to find out that is the exact kind of thing I find fun in this hobby.
I love trying to track down parts for a build. The excitement when you find them is the best.
As I said, one day I will. I've got tooo many projects going right now. I appreciate the info you shared and saved it for later reference 😎

Team Durango DEX210, I had gotten it on sale from Amain hobbies and then a few weeks later when I finally got done building it, they announced their bankruptcy. 😂

Never even put electronics in it... I wonder what happened to that one? I'll have to dig around at my parents house. The thing was never driven, would be a cool little piece of history if I could ever find it! lol

I'll bet your parents would like to see it out of their closet as much as we'd like to see it restored and posted here!
Get searching!!! 😍👍

Wouldn't need much restoring, it never ran!

They've since moved 2-3 houses since then, so I'd be surprised if any of my old RC stuff made it through the moves without getting thrown out. Next time I'm over there I'll start rooting through boxes and the crawl space and see if can find the ultimate haul. Makes me wish I would've kept a lot of the stuff I had collected, but it was also nice to start over again when I got back into the hobby as an adult.

I myself lost a Kyosho nitro atv somewhere at my parents. I had that and an hpi nitro mt2 there. According to the old man he kept them but they havnt been seen in 15+ years.
It'd be killer if he'd run across that Kyosho atv!

You should go digging for that one of yours!

I can attest to this… I can’t tell you how often this dude has texted me after locating a solid deal on an OG Custom Works Dominator, or Intimidator… 🤩🤘

My first was a Tamiya Frog. I got it from Price Club. Predecessor to Costco. It included a twin stick controller. Wheeled controllers were not common at the time, nor were electronic speed controllers. I think it would have been around 1985 or 1986.

See? THERE is the difference... I never grew up and still have ALL my childhood toys! ❤️🤣
I was lucky to have been able to keep most of my collection.
I'm still buying old r/c's from 30 years ago so yeah, its been lots of fun getting those kits that I've always wanted!
I even messed up and let a newer buggy slip into the collection! 🤣
I'd sure open a box or 10 just to quiet my wondering mind! 👍

This was an excellent R/C car!
Eventually I lowered it with foam tires and put a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 Trans-Am body on it.

That made it into an on-road beast that could keep up with dedicated 2WD NASCAR racers on the oval.
My place had a concrete oval NASCAR track (Saturdays) and an off-road track (Friday nights).
I moved on to racing a 1st Gen Associated RC10T off-road truck.
I won the championship trophy because of consistency, reliability and showing up every weekend.
LOL!

Boom! I actually have 2 and some weird Tyco buggy as well. My buddy gave me his Pegasus (the one without a body) when he joined our little gang. He picked up a cool HPI Nitro Buggy (can't remember what kind), but he gave me the Pegasus (for parts) after I broke-in his new engine and painted the body.

He swiped his radio and servos for the new car, which I had also done with my old Kraft 2-ch pistol grip w/receiver and servos.

The truck body was one I picked up for my buddy's Clod Buster, but never got around to finishing. Looks like an old Futaba Magnum radio box under the pile as well. I guess it's time for some housekeeping.

Cool old buggies! The only thing better than an old Kyosho is TWO old Kyosho!!! 🤣

Mid 80s gold tub RC10. Used to drive the 30min from San Marcos, to Austin, TX, to run it on a track. That car was an icon...revolutionized RC off road racing. Had to sell it for $300, to help cover moving expenses back to Houston, after I graduated.

I helped my uncle build a Clod when I was very young. It was a miserable experience. I built one again in my 30s and it was only slightly less miserable. :D

The first kit I ever purchased and assembled myself was the OG SCX10 back in 2008. It was all downhill from there. There is nothing that brings me more joy than building a fresh kit.

Here she is in all her glory posing with my comp AX10...back when "comp" crawler meant something totally different than it does now.
