what to use for portable jumps

Yea the do but it looks cheap and it is very small but you can make it diffent sizes/ angles

I was thinking of making a reversible ramp. Basically a triangle with 2 different angled sides with ply wood on it. So, in one direction the ramp has a steeper angle than the other direction. This way you can have a high speed ramp and a high AIR ramp all out of the same jump.

 I just realized that if I took my idea and cut it in half down the middle I would have 2 seperate ramps :trashed:

Well me and my friend made a ramp. I will post pics but for now i will tell you about it. It is 30 inches high 32 inches wide and 4 feet long. If you put 2 flower pots under it my savage can pull a back flip off every time. It is sweet to see something that heavy jump so high. Also we where thinking of making mini-t ramps and selling them on e-bay. SO you think we have a market?

I used my inlaws 6ft table they left in my garage used one at work too..was jumping the fire hydrant and some other things...but the problem w/that is its waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to heavy and its got like an 1 1/2 in lip or more that throws the truck way off and it to long...lotta wheel spin there.

thanks nitrom that helps I may have to do that because I have always needed a portable ramp.

But I'm still new to this hobby and I'm wondering if that would launch your truck as high as a curved ramp would? And if you could modefie that ramp to make it curved

No it wouldn't launch it as high. If you did curve the ramp it wouldn't be as portable.

what about if you got a skinnier piece of plywood. wouldnt it bend on impact and make the ramp curveed but that bad thing is that if you get too skinny it would break. Give me your thoughts

You could use something like rubber to bend but that idea I don't think would work.

A little off topic but i just thought of it while watchin some bashin vids, when you rc vehicle flips onto its bad is it a bad thing, like a running measure where you run to flip it back over or a laughing masure where you and your friend juts point and laugh at you rc car for a really brutal jump

and one more thing this is the web site these vids were at http://www.slapmafro.com/publicmovies.html look at the 3rd one down calles farmbash 5 i wanna know what type of stadium truck is the one that is red and white, right at the starting
