Okay well i really wanted something bigger then a tmaxx so i traded it for a aftershock. I spent all day today tuning it and working on the tranny and got it so that i runs like a champ. |The only thing i found wrong is, umm, what engine should i put in it?:constipat

|I was running it and flipped it and next thing i know i see a black thing shot up into the air, well it turns out that my engine caught and it ripped it right out of the truck breaking the tab on the side of the engine and breaking the crank case. |What a really good engine i should get for it? also does anybody have an engine they are willing to let go for a decent price?

post pics of the engine lol.. !! w00t take one for the team zach

Now that's a crash for the books to have blown your engine--without over revving it! I want to see pics lol

Oh, and btw a really good engine would be the LRP spec 3 (I think that's the name...) Everyone seems to recommend it.

Man we gotta have some pics. I've put my rigs through some terrible crashes and I havent broken anything (while flipping) , especially ripped the motor in two.

Okay here you go!

What It once looked like:

And now some carnage, not a great looking wreak like you were hoping though.

Man dose that thing need a good nitro wash, and for a truck that big I would probly go with a HSC-5995TG it has 333oz of tourqe at 6v...Can't help you with the motor but I have herd other people say good things about the LRP motor tou have listed...

The LRP 28 S3 is a good match for that truck. I run it as well in my hopped up aftershock. You may find that after installing it that you will need to gear it a bit taller... or you will be on your roof a lot from the wheelies.

The only downside is that you will probably need to get a LST* 2 speed assembly. I had 3 gallons or so with the stock engine through my aftershock before installing the LRP. The 2speed lasted up to the 4th tank of break-in of the LRP... then it basically broke itself. There's a lot more torque in the LRP than any of the stock engines for the AS/LST lineup.

The LRP for sure. The Axial .28RR has bucketloads of top end. More for buggies and truggies. Dont know it would do an M/T job.
LRP all the way.......

I would say LRP too.....I fricking love that engine. What I think you (had) was a SH .28 those are pretty good bashers engines too though. But, damn brother sorry to see that. I did the same with a Revo.....broke the engine mount and the case....snapped the ear off same way. Sucks...
