Hi, I am new to this hobby and I am about to buy a car and I don't know witch one to get. I'm thinking of getting theses:
Redcat racing earthquake 3.5
Traxxas nitro rustler
Hpi bullet mt 3.0
Hpi bullet st 3.0
I was planning on getting the earthquake because it's 1/8 and has good parts but I'm not sure
Witch one of then is better
Also Do u recommend any for aroun 350

Ditto on hamz9561. Hpi and traxxas will always have parts available. I have never heard any long term good feedback on redcat. I have owned a lot of traxxas and it's by far the best until you get "involved/evolved" into kits. Welcome to the hobby. The insanity is not as bad once you get used to it!

Agree that Redcats pretty much suck. but Id personally probably go with the Rustler out of the kits listed above. I love HPI but not a fan of the Bullets. Id still go with a bullet over a redcat anyday though.

I agree the Rustler is the way to go. Big assortment of
replacement and upgrade parts available, not to mention
plenty of online support from fellow Traxxas owners.

Ok it seems like a lot of you guys like the traxxas
Witch one is better in specs from the beginning without upgrades the hpi or the traxxas.

Also is it hard to get parts for the hpi because it's not in the us?

I'd go with the Rusty, mine is my most abused but loved rig in my garage. They are extremely easy to work on and for the most part and have good aftermarket parts support. I only saw the Bullet in person once, it looked pretty good, but I've heard that the parts are sometimes hard to come by in the States.

It being your first, I would say the rustler. It being a stadium truck, they are fun and easy to work on. What about the hpi firestorm? I've have owned the rusty and the firestorm. The firestorm being a much better truck. Imo

oh ok i see does the firestorm work good in grass
and what fuel do you put in the hpi

Yes it works good on grass. Stadium trucks in general can be set up to work well in a number of surfaces. As far as fuel, I run VP powermaster 30% nitro 9% lube. I really like it. I have also run Byrons with great results.

oh ok and how do u tell what fuel to run on it
the bullet st 3.0?

You can run the same fuels I mentioned in the bullet. The bullet has the same engine as the firestorm. You can run any quality nitro fuel for cars and trucks in it. You will want to run 20-30 % nitro content.

Oh ok great
Thanks
So any 20% fuel should work
Also are there allot of upgrades I can get for the billet

and I'm also a bit worried about the break in process is it hard for these hpis?
and what do u need to get this thing actually started that isnt included?

Yeah there are some upgrades available. Are you getting a bullet or firestorm? The brake in process is pretty easy. You just have to take your time and not rush it.

Cool, I hear they are good trucks. I think all you will need is 8 AA batteries, a fuel bottle and a glow plug igniter and you'll be all set.

There are a lot to choose from but I personally use the "Dynamite lipo glow driver". It has worked really well for me.
