Back when I was bashing nitro on a track, ran low percentage nitro / high percentage oil in my Mugen/Novarossi. You are linking to 20/20. As I recall 20/16 worked well for me. But then 20% became hard to get off the shelf in Houston. Most of the guys were racing 30/8 or 35/8 percentages.

For me it was a balance b/w how fast to go vs. how cool and long the engine lasted. Personally, I think you are good where you are.

As I recall, IFMAR went to 16% oil to reduce engine exhaust noise. That may be a factor as well?

Too much oil will make the engine run hotter, make needle settings harder, and have more sluggish performance.

Bashing, 20/12 works pretty well. I use 25/11 in my MT's that are for racing.

Vp master basher fuel is amazing in my t maxx 3.3
