Picked up all the parts. So far I electronics and battery trays swapped out. I'll start with the front end and rebuild the shocks while I'm at it.

I am going to put green springs in the front with 35wt shock oil. For the rear I'll be using orange springs with 30wt oil.

Figured it would be a good starting point. Will be running on smaller indoor smooth clay track.
 
Interesting choice, considering they are really the same thing! Just some body mounts and the side plastic parts is about it I think?
A real EB48 has bigger drivetrain components obviously but that's not what you're going for here. I like it!

I know it's quite similar. I've been wanting an 1/8 scale buggy, but it would be too much for my local track. Figured this would be a fun project to scratch the itch!
 
The conversion is coming along nicely. I wasn't paying enough attention and ordered a really tall wing mount... I do believe I'll pick up the low profile version.
