Interesting... I've never had this happen. Maybe i was too impatient when I put my paint layers on. The drywall tape ate through the paint and put a white pattern on the inside...

Interesting.
How many coats of the white/backer were used?
How long did you let the white/backer dry?

I overcoat it a bit with the white backer, but I waited about 3 days after to put the drywall tape and shoe goo on.

I started building this in October and just took it out for a test drive. This thing in an animal! I jumped it, flipped it, cartwheeled it. It has enough power to "self right" on 4s. There is no way I'm moving up to 6s.

I added some well needed protection in the form of drywall tape, shoe goo, and Arrma Senton roof skids. Good thing this truck has a low COG, because that body weighs 263 grams.

I can't help it, I love stickers...

I guess we know where the body needs a bit more reinforcement. :p😁

I usually reinforce around the body post holes, but this lexan was pretty thick so I thought it would be fine. I think a square body was the wrong way to go.

I see you have your truck for sale now. Just not what you expected? 🤔
Its actually everything and more than I expected. I keep trying to lean into the "tricks bashing" scene, but I just can't get into it. This truck will do backflips on command and handles great, but my interests are elsewhere.

I enjoy the small scale stuff and 1/10 racing at my local track. I enjoy watching my Baja 5b flying across the field, but for some reason the "in-between" like 1/8 scale just doesn't put a smile on my face.
