It's cool that they put a built in license plate holder right on the axle. :)

For now I'm keeping it that bright obnoxious orange🤣. I didn't know they made window nets for these. Those wheels would have looked killer on the Ryft I built a couple years back. Here is what it looked like.

I may attempt to dye it olive drab green, but I dont know how well it will dye over that orange. Some copper panels would be awesome too, just like my original!

I also just ordered a set of stock shocks from ebay. I had no complaints with the stock shocks. I have no need to lower the center of gravity so it can corner better... ima full send this straight up over stuff and I want to watch that suspension work!

3dprinted nets

This is all very fun looking stuff. , I just drownded my ryft in vitavon , now it sticks to the ground great , aluminum wheels and usd sticky tires it’s my wife’s crawler bouncer run off into the parking lot wreck at full speed victim now , and holding up great ,,,,,,,,so far

I got this back out so I could get the motor mounted and get back to work on it... Then I realized I accidentally ordered the motor with the 3.17mm shaft. I meant to order the version with the 5mm shaft. Now I am trying to decide what to do. I can go through the whole return/exchange process, which I feel bad doing because it was my mistake. I can purchase a new rotor with 5mm shaft, but those are $50. For $75, I can get a Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro 540L 2100kv motor.

Finally got the new motor. I also decided to put in the 2-speed kit since I had it. I forgot that Axial only includes the top half of the servo saver. I guess I'm left waiting until my Reefs variable micro servo savor comes in the mail. I did manage to die the cage and paint the panels. Its hard to tell from the pics, but the cage is a leather brown and the panels are pretty similar.
