I used to know someone who had a daughter that was Olympic junior shotgun sports.. now years back he told me unless you shot a lot, like 2k-3k rds a month or more shotgun reloading was hard to get to any savings by handloading.

Now before component costs went nuts, you could save on certain caliber and match ammo. I think I was loading 223 federal gold medal match clones for about 11- 12 bux a box, lake city brass, cci 450 primers, varget, and 77 gr Sierra match king, not cheap, but cheaper and tuned to the rifle.

They just shooting 22 right now (they only 9&11). Son is gonna try shotgun too this year.

Between our back yard range and the practice/meets though we do burn through a few rounds 😅

Kyosho Banner for my new office/sleeptech/hobbytech room - older child is moved!

Crazy what happens when the kids move out. As soon as I fully moved out, my dad suddenly became a lot cooler. Turns out he had hobbies or something like that? Could’ve fooled me. 🤣

Jokes aside, it looks like it’s coming together. Having a dedicated area for RC was the best thing I ever did.

Ha! It really is nice to have this room, I have a home office in the master but this is going to be so much better! Glad you found out about your pop's hobbies lol

Picked this up today at my LHS. Got a set of bearings on order, looking forward to building this 😎View attachment 254077
Cool buy dude, I wish could get a clod buster someday although i'm not sure if it would be a great truck for me knowing i love the fast and durable MT's or would i just want one for the nostalgia. Still cool keep us updated with the build.

I put it on carpet and the damn thing did half a backflip 🤣 yeah I figure the T could turn a little tighter, also I like the taller ride height, I've got some of those plastic kids skate ramps that I can use for jumps, one will be to flat so imma want that extra travel. Might even look into a cheap lap timer
There's an app on iphones that uses your camera to record lap times. I use it on my home carpet tracks for my micros. I think the app is like 2 dollars
