N+1 is going to ruin my life

Id like to note that this is my first brand new Traxxas. Let's see how good they are when they haven't been abused by an 8 year old 🤣

Didnt expect the red to be this dark but its actually one of the most beautiful rc paintjobs I've ever seen.

First things I notice off the bat are that the tires actually feel really good after a quick clean (theyre actually sticking to my bench) and the wheelie bar is a great length with tons of adjustability.

I dont want to like it more than my dr10 but damn 🥵

Yeah that color is beautiful. I have a 1:1 '70 gmc short bed fleetside. That red is really sweet.

I bought 3 potentiometers with capacitors because the electronics are terrible in my red Strat.
The pickups are awesome but the rest is crap.
These are Fender.
Edit; bought a Fender 5-way switch also.

hey that reminds Tunedfrog you might be able to shed some light on this. iv got an "old" (1996) Kima SE-12 guitar that i can't play anymore. from about 2000 to 2002 i had to have the tone and volume knobs turned all the way up or id get noise (a constant continuous hum) out of the amp. i haven't touched this thing sense about 2009 because the noise was starting to happen even with the knobs turned all the way up. pretty sure i need to replace the knobs. got any thoughts? ideas? recommendations? where to buy?

i don't remember why but i replaced the jack and got a decent cable back in about 2002/2003, but it didn't make any difference.

When you played was you anywhere near fluorescent lighting?
Fluorescent lighting plays hell on a guitar and amp.
It could just be it needs a complete rewire.
There is 3 brands of potentiometers I use. Fender, CTS, or Bourns.
I ran a search and I have no clue what kind of guitar it is.
If you plan on rewiring it yourself, it's best to get the diagram off the web
or have a Luthier rewire it.

Today I got a sorter bin, after seeing @Littlemotor 's I knew I needed one. It's the perfect size for all of my 1/24 & 1/18 hardware. The compartments snap nice and tight, there will be no loose bits and peices.

Love the compact size! For reference this is a 1/18 crawler.

fluorescent lights yes and no. the problem started in my bedroom with no fluorescent lights. and continued in the garage with fluorescent lights. and continued in my friends garage with fluorescent, and friends living room with no fluorescent, and friends pool house with fluorescent. location never seemed to have an effect. it was oh crap it's humming again and i can't hear myself play, crank the knobs all the way up. sometimes id have to crank them up and down a few times to get it to work. and then eventually that stopped working.

it's this, only mines complete and in much better shape.

I wanted to get one before I decided to get another. I will probably get one for my 1/10 screws and such. Really nice product.
