Well didn’t buy it today, but found it down in the basement storage room today.
Apparently another one of those buys I forgot all about.
It was sort of like a kid a Christmas getting to open a cool looking pkg to see what wax in it. Lol

Looks like I received it back in late April 0f 2019. lol
That was right around the time we were closing on our new property and right after construction started on the house additions etc
As well as pack, then moving etc.
This was another EBay auction win.

My all time favorite slash body.

There’s a mostly complete Nitro Stampede on Facebook marketplace for $50… the only thing keeping me from scooping it up is the fact I’m sleeping when everyone is awake

It seems like the STRC arms for the drag Slash are being discontinued or something. I wanted green, but the rears haven't been in stock for a while now. So I figured I better grab the blue. These are for the Pinto build. Slowly gathering parts when I can.

Went to the local hobby shop picked up another slash clip-less body conversion kit.

I installed my first kit on the General last night.
Man is that clip-less upgrade nice.

It’s way better than I could ever do myself.
Several years ago, I found this really good RC painter on eBay.
I had him do several different custom creations for me.
I would come up with theme and pics of concept and send to him.
We would pic a body type to use for the different projects.
My Smokey and the Bandit tribute slash. This one is a shelf queen.

I've decided my Monster Slash is a winner (the best stunt truck I've ever owned). Now I'm down to some minor tuning.
Jato 1.200 rated springs for the rear and the rear 1.004 springs I'm going to move to the front. I'm going to start with 40wt fluid f/r and see how it drives.

I was thinking of making it an AF, but I like the bigger frame. I'm an older guy who prefers the wider seat. Also, DMV accidentally gave me plates for this bike, so I'm if I change the frame, I lose the street legal plates.

I bought a sheet of Spektrum repro stickers from eBay.

Got my 3D printed fender liners for my MAXX Slash today.
Hopefully it cures the gravel from getting stuck in the steering linkage and locking up my steering.
UDRs steering linkages is much better protected from this issue.
Hopefully I can get the MAXX Slash where it’s functional on my track surface which is primarily crushed asphalt and a bit of pea gravel under it.
