To get the thread somewhat back on track, I was given a used T-Maxx last night. Haven't had a chance to evaluate it, as it was dropped off kinda late. But from the quick look I had, it appears to be a 2.5r, so maybe I have a home for the 3.3 in my toolbox. Or it may get converted.

That thing is great. My wife got me one a couple years ago to replace my old failing dremel. Battery life isn't that long, but for all the stuff I use it for, having 2 battereis is plenty to get me through any job. From the feel of it, it has the torque/power of the plug in version.

I have that same Dremel and I LOVE it! It has done everything I needed it to without an issue, ever. I have a few corded dremels and although the rechargeable battery will eventually drain, there have only been a couple times I have run it flat and not for the job completed. (extensive aluminum polishing excluded)

Bought a Thrustmaster TMX force feedback wheel setup for the XB1. Had one back in the day for PS2 and it was pretty amazing, we'll see how the current gen stuff stacks up.

Picked the Exo up today, he included a new gensacearespammers 5300 2S lipo and a RC Screwz screw kit. It needs the dog bone from the center to the front diff. and it'll be gtg. He installed but never ran STRC bulkheads, chassis braces, front shock tower, and rear shock mounts, along with RPM arms. It also has a Sidewinder SCT 3800kv setup and a Fly Sky GT3B trx/rx. I still think it's a good deal for $45.08 worth of coffee.

Unfortunately these days you are a villain if you are a police officer and are a target for violence out on the streets. The department only provides us with a level IIIa soft armor Kevlar vest for under our uniform shirts which offer decent protection from most handgun rounds but not much from rifles. So even though I really couldn't spend the $$ I had to buckle down and order some external more protective stuff. Don't you hate when unplanned expenses come up?

Idk what that is. But I've met the owner/founder of the company Marc a few times and he even returned my call at 0200 Sunday morning to get my order done. He is a great dude. I don't shop online except for very few sites, I do everything over the telephone.

It means every bit of information: name, address, phone, email, username, and password are all sent in clear text from your computer to bounce around the internet until it reaches their site. During that time, anyone that wanted could easily see that information.

Anytime you enter any kind of PII you should be looking for the green pad lock and HTTPS in the URL of the website address.

In addition that site also uses a version of Joomla that's been end-of-life nearly 2 years ago. On the plus side you do all the ordering via phone.
